January 2009

Hi!! I am new to DIS but have been lurking! Just wanted to let you know that I am subbing to your TR! My daughter Abby LOVES American Girl, so I share your updates with her. She just got Julie for her 6th bday..her first AG! Can't wait till you post more!popcorn::

We finally got to your signature pic!!!

I can see why you choose it - I love it!!!:goodvibes

Thanks for sharing all of those gorgeous shots of Castaway Cay. That one day in and of itself looks completely worth the price of admission!;)

Oh, how exciting! I came back from vacation (not to WDW, unfortunately) and you'd posted a new report - yay! I'm so sad your report is about to come to an end - I'm really hoping that you've been on another Disney trip since this one, and you'll be starting a new TR soon!

Great update! Love the room service idea to stock up for later. Very practical!

Minnie's dress was FABULOUS! I just loved it! I must say, her sailor shoes were pretty spectacular too. It's so sad that your TR is coming to an end. It's been so enjoyable!

I LOVE the picture of yours and Minnie's shoes! So fabulous :thumbsup2 I have that same night light. My office knew I was all excited about our Disney trip, and they put that night light, a coloring book, and something else in a bag with the movie bucks they gave me ;) So cute. Mickey and Minnie looked SO great in their fancy clothes! I'm sad your trip is practically over, but I've REALLY enjoyed reading along!

I know this is kind of off topic, but I was hoping all of you lovely DISers might be able to help. At one time I was reading a trip report about a family-it's a mom and dad and three kids. The screen name was disfamily something. Anyways, the daughter is a fantastic photographer and had been accepted to the Disney college program. I was following her journey, but I can't find the trip report anywhere. I believe the daughter's name is Jordan and the mom is Glennis. Does anyone have a link to their reports?

Again, sorry that this is off topic.

I love your trip reports, I check bach every couple of days hoping that you have posted something new. I also really enjoy your blog with Soleil.

Hope you have a fantastic summer!

Hi Emma!

I am generally a lurker, but since your report is coming to an end, I just wanted to log in to tell you how much I have enjoyed your report!! I felt like I was cruising right along with your family...and since I've never done the Disney Cruise, I wanted to thank you for bringing me. :) Hope you are having a wonderful summer!!

Oh no, the last night. . .

I love the sunset pictures. Glad to hear your mother said something about the inappropriate picture! As a mother of small children I am grateful for that.

I think the photo system is really wasteful too. It seems like they could reduce the cost if they wasted less paper.

I love Minnie's formal dress and her nautical outfit is adorable.

The birthday cake is fabulous! Glad to hear you got one good dessert.

What a great idea to order room service sandwiches. Did you have something to pack them in to keep them cool in the car?

Thanks for the update sorry the trip is coming to an end.

I believe you are referring to "theDISneyfamily". Michelle writes the many wonderful reports. I too was concerned when I couldn't find her reports anymore! As it turns out,she decided to remove her report. She has another trip coming up in August staying at the new Bay Lake Tower(next to The Contemporary) so hopefully she will start a new report.

Two pairs of totally fabulous shoes!

I know you've discussed this earlier in the thread, but after skimming through about 20 pages, I decided it would be easier to ask you. Where did you get those fabulous navy and white wedges?? They're marvelous! :worship:

While we're on the subject of shoes, just exactly how comfy are crocs? I've never worn them (and actually think they're kinda ugly), but so many folks swear by them.

Hope you're having a wonderful summer! :flower3:

Some more incredible pictures, Emma! I love Mickey & Minnie in their formal wear :goodvibes Too bad about the lousy desserts at Tritons :sad2: I know we're all sad about the last day of your cruise but I have to ask...
How was it sharing one little bathroom with your whole family? :lmao: I'd probly plan so that I was the last one in there getting ready ea day so I could take the longest!!!
The pictures at the end of cruises drive me crazy... I'm always searching through a sea of faces trying to find myself. BTW did you find the photographers on the ship to be pushy at all about getting pictures?

I love the cute picture of Minnie's and your feet - great wedges! You're quite good at putting personality in your photos without showing faces, I don't know how you do it!

My favorite light wasn’t on the ship, though, it was up in the sky!

I think the moon looked even more mysterious and romantic and gorgeous with a fleet of clouds to frame it!

Mickey looks so dapper in his tux and Minnie of course, always fabulous! (and look at those feathers!) :thumbsup2

Ooooh, how I'd love to see the "first couple" all dressed up in evening clothes!!

That moon is perfect...

Good for Mom speaking up about the racy painting. Art is art as we know, but little kids don't know that yet! They really should have been more discreet...

Okay, now off to read about your dinner!!
