Thanks for the heads up on the military discount. I passed it on to my Dad, so maybe he will take advantage of that.

If you haven't already heard - it looks like all the 2008 participating DDP restaurants are back for 2009!

Thank you so much for posting this new information. I have been looking for the past week every day. They must have sneaked it on today. I am happy that much more choices are on the list.

Thank you Snowbirds for posting all your tips. I wouldn't have thought about the power bar and I forgot about the shoe organizer.

I think I am switching from lists to putting it on the calendar on when I will be doing what. This helps me set goals and focus on what is need for when.

I hope you all have a safe and warm weekend. :flower3:

Remmy

Hi all,
more shopping today!

I got 2 pairs of Sandals - 1 pair of Merrels and a pair of The North Face ! It was a sale, buy one get one free. They are the rugged hiking type sandals!
I also got a small backpack- i do not like my Baggalini so I am going to try this bag out and see if it fits all my stuff. I also got a new wallet- small compact one for the little things I take to the world. I also found a swimsuit...don;t really like it, but it fits and it "supportive" :rotfl:

we then stopped by Wally World and got the last bits of travel stuff. Tomorrow it is croc shopping and time to try on my summer pants to see if the fit.

We still need to take down the tree and clean.

Yes, thanks Shelly for the DDP list! Now that I know we're going to do it, I'm glad to see everywhere we are planning to go is on it!

Remmy - great idea on the calendar to-do. I just don't know if my calendar is big enough!

Well, we went flower girl dress shopping! Oh my gosh, it was so cute. The girls' eyes got so big when we went into the bridal store!! It was like they didn't know where to look first! - Kind of like the first trip to WDW! They loved all the dresses and there were a lot of brides and bridesmaids there trying on dresses too, so they thought that was pretty awesome. Our bride (my nephew's fiance) tried on her dress to show us too, and they modeled the flower girl dresses we tried next to her. It was so cute, I was almost in tears. In the end, we picked out dresses that looked like the bride's beading and front of her skirt. So beautiful! We brought them home under strict orders that these are NOT for playing dress up!!! Now they can't wait for the wedding and it's not until June!

Aw crap...another thing to do on Monday - go to post office and get stamps for postcards....:headache:

Shoot! Thanks for the reminder!! And don't forget to print out the addresses ahead of time for people getting cards!

Funny - our decorations are "making" us take them down this weekend. We had terrible wind the past few days, so half our lawn decorations were down this morning, our living room tree lights are about 75% out, and our family room tree lights has a string out.

Yeah, that happened to me last weekend. I found some of our wreaths in the backyard (they had been on the front of the house the night before) and went "okay, then, that's all set!"

Today I had a girl's day and went to the mall with my friend. We went to a bath and body shop called Lush (there's on in the Orlando airport if you've never been and can lose the men for a short time - lol). They were having buy 1 get TWO free on their soaps and buy 1 get 1 free on their holiday gift sets (which have soap, bath bombs, shower bombs, scrubs). Then we went to Bath & Body Shop for THEIR sales and I got MORE body wash (hey, at $3...!), THEN we went to Sephora where I got something I actually needed (who knew!) but walked out with my birthday gift from them (body wash. note a trend?) and my 100 point gift (face moisterizer with SPF - for Disney!). My cats were very interested in all the smelly things I brought

I may never need soap again. I'm debating cutting pieces of the soap-soap and giving some to my mom and my other friends.

Has anyone seen my bathing suit? I can't seem to find it and I want to pack it to Disney just in case...

Sounds like a fun day! I hope you have a super day tomorrow - even if you have to watch the Vikings! :)
:bday: tomorrow! Here's a little pixie dust to make your day great and to help you find your swimsuit! pixiedust:

Okay, back on the subject of Crocs! I saw in the Outlet they have little Tinkerbell mary janes. Plus Minnie Janes for adults. I'm wondering if anyone has the mary jane style and can tell me how they fit. My regular crocs are fairly loose fitting. My girls have the Caymans (clog style) and flip flops and so I know what size those are. Their caymans are old, and getting small, so I thought I should just order the next size up in the mary janes.
Any thoughts, advice, comments? Much appreciated!

Awww, thanks! Now, can you make tomorrow's freezing rain vanish?! ;) It'll be a nice day, I am very sure. DH has already promised me a grilled cheese (hee!) for lunch and we're going to the grocery store soon to pick up some fun foods for tomorrow night, in case the freezing rain is bad enough we can't safely go out for dinner. :)

My coworker wears a size 7 in ALL styles of crocs (she has many), so they seem to run pretty normal. She has the Mary Janes, too. (So do I and I love them, though I think the MJ Croc tan line has finally faded :rolleyes1 ). But I lovelovelove my Mary Jane crocs. I wore a pair out this past summer!!!

Awesome! Thanks for the info. I really hope the weather cooperates for you. Here we are supposed to get snow until the middle of the night and then get COLD! As if it wasn't cold enough at 20 and windy! It all started as freezing rain/sleet and changed over around dinner time. So I'm sure there's a lovely icy layer underneath the couple inches of snow. I should have known it would be cold tomorrow. We have show tickets and it seems every time we do, it's either super cold, super windy or both. I'll test my theory again next weekend when we see another show. Tomorrow is Grease (with Taylor Hicks) and next week is Frost/Nixon.

Well, I guess everyone else is off having a life or something. My DH is working at the Wild game, kids are in bed. I'm watching Little Miss Sunshine. I undecorated the tree, put away most of the other decorations. Still have the village and tree to take down. That will be tomorrow's job (for DH! )
I'm debating whether I should keep watching TV or hop on the Wii Fit and do something good. Of course I also want popcorn! Such tough decisions!!

Or maybe everyone is on the phone with Disney like I am! I couldn't get their website to do anything. I just need to add Magical Express for me and DD7. They said they have a higher than normal volume of calls...On a Saturday night? Well at least I have good music to listen to.

You could Wii Fit WHILE eating popcorn...of course with my luck I'd choke and no one would hear me!:rotfl:

I've been spending hours pouring thru the creative threads looking for tshirts!! UGH! There's so much info out there and I feel bad PM'ing someone asking them to make me something, but I"m guessing that will be the way to go. I've looked at clip art and can't find anything that I could be more creative with than what's already been made!!

MEL-was it you that had the "will trade brother for fastpass?" I think I want to get those for the boys...which designer was that?

Hope everyone is having a relaxing Saturday evening. We shopped earlier and did lunch which was great but everyone started getting cranky toward the end (missed nap time) and didn't fall asleep on the way home, so it's been a stressful evening. Andy took the baby for a ride and I sipped an adult beverage sitting in bed watching Jumanji with Drew. NOW I'm relaxing!

28 minutes on hold...still holding...
I did make and eat popcorn while waiting!
I should be doing Wii while on hold. I've missed half the movie anyway, because I keep getting up and doing things, or flipping channels to watch hockey!

Might as well start. Even though it's after 9 and I am getting tired. I'd rather have an adult beverage (should have with my corn!). Oh well.

I'm not sure I'm going to bother with shirts. I think it will be lucky if I make my LGMH tags for my bag and door decorations for the cruise. I don't want to put too much pressure on myself!

I was looking through our Disney documents for Magical Express and noticed that they only have our arriving flight info, not our departure info. Do any of you know if I can add that while we're at Disney- or more importantly, how easy/difficult that is to do?

They should be able to add it there, no problem. A couple of years ago we forgot to add our flight info, and then AGAIN forgot at the resort until we were LEAVING and realized we didn't have the same tickets as our in laws. In a panic I went up to the stand and they were able to print vouchers for us to get on the bus (not that anyone checked them). We just had to take care of checking our own bags. Not one of my finer moments!! :confused3

okay after 35 min. I gave up. I'm going to Wii.

Goodnight Snowbirds!

I just finished:yay: I think that it is my new addiction. I just unlocked the 10 min. boxing, but I was too sore to try it tonight:rotfl2:

Yep, that's me. I have written down here that Natalie (donatalie) DISigned it but when I go to her 4shared link it's not in theer anymore :confused3 Maybe you could try PMing her and ask her if she still has it? I am almost 100% sure I got it from there. Sorry I am not much help :) I'll keep looking...

I *think* when you check in, you can let your CM know about this and they can arrange it for you. Or you can call the ME number when you're there. I have read that this happens quite a bit.

One more day for you!!!!!! How exciting!!!!!!
