January 2009. . . Calling all Snowbirds ~ Part IV !!!

It's so nice to read other mommies have the same issue- problem is my DD is 9. She's borderline fashion carazy, but can't match colours or know what fits her properly.

I am SOOOO in the same boat w/ DD10!!! I love my daughter but I swear I think she was switched at birth!! The girl will wear fuschia leggings, an orange overshirt & red tank top with her Little Mismatch Socks!! UUUGGGG so if at the parks you see a cute curly brown hair brown eyed girl about 4.9" wear the most atroscious colors together that will be mine. LOL She does a good job of matching up cute outfits but the colors (shuddering as I type). I am hoping this is a phase & she will regain her common color sense.

Goodmorning Everyone! Just between us Snowbirds- I'm so excited to go to Disney that I'm having tummy issues! I sure hope the don't carry over to tommorow, it sure would make for a terrible plane ride.

On the subject of tanning- I used to be a tanning Queen. Then I started to notice fine lines around my eyes and mouth at 22. I freaked out! I did tan for my wedding and I've tanned a little for this trip. I don't tan in the summer or any other time of the year, so I figure once in a blue moon won't hurt too much.

Sarbah77 & crzyred feel free to PM if you guys want to try to do some kind of meet will give you my cell. I can't really set anything in stone as of today. We are meeting up with friends while we are down there for the first few days. I am sure that my friend Dawn will be more than happy to sneak off with me for a meet & leave the kiddos with the DH's!! Actually we had planned on doing that a few times. We agreed to do the kid swap thing & give everyone a few hours of "alone time" while we are down there.

So if you are in the parks I will be carrying either my pink elephant hipster or my lime green Vera Bradley Lindsey bag with LGMH on them say hi!!!

Sounds like a plan!! I'll be the hot looking babe who's 35 but looks 25, a size 2...oh wait, that's my delusional disorder coming out again. One of these days I'll get downstairs and hubby can help me post some pictures!!

I used to tan as well... then this past year I had to have two spots removed - one from my arm and one from my back... they both left large scars that look terrible... the doctor said the tanning bed didn't cause them but definatly sped up the process..... no more tanning beds for us....

Great List...I have to visit Wal-Mart and get envelopes and I just realized I don't know what I did with my LGMickey Heads....oh no...off to go on a wild search.

I did manage to lift some lime green mouse ear cards from Home Depot that I'll attach to whatever bag I'm carrying... and I think that's it for the important stuff.

(oh boy!) Husband said he doesn't mind working the next week, to give us some time between our vacations. He's silly. What's wrong with life on vacation?!

I need some more LGMH's too. I think I only have 4. I want to make some sort of tag with them, but I want more in case I mess up! I desperately want to buy new luggage, but my DH says we don't need it. I beg to differ! We have 2 rolling suitcases, but I want 3 for this trip. I want to bring down some snacks with us (we're going to go grocery shopping too) and that way, I'll have an empty suitcase for packing all of our stuff we buy! I'll have to keep talking to him about it I guess. I also want to buy some mary jane crocs for my DD and the Guide to the Magic book for her as well. Anyways.....I don't have anything to do today which is nice. I have to head downtown to our arena at 1:30pm tomorrow. Our game isn't until 7:30, but we have a lot to do. First of all, we're doing our photo shoot! I'm so excited about this! Then, we have our field practice (we go over where we need to stand on the field for each of our 4 dances and then we run ALL of our dances with music). After that, we have time to eat and freshen up for the game. It's a long day, but it's so much fun!

Had a really nice day yesterday. We had New Year's brunch with some good friends, played mah jongg, and then ran some errands. I was supposed to go to work at 5, and they called and said they weren't opening. I had the evening off! No more work until January 13!

Unfortunately, ear is still blocked up - the nasal steroids did nothing. Picked up the Sudafed and I have prescription Motrin from a previous injury, so that's what I'll be trying on the plane.

But I WILL BE ON THE PLANE tomorrow, and probably drive my d crazy with "What?" all the time!!

My printer is not good at all, we got it about three years ago for like $80 so I think it's on the low end of printers. As for screwing it up, I would be the one to do that (I burnt peanut brittle this Christmas) but it's actually pretty easy. You want to use 100% cotton shirts and it takes no time at all. Just print, cut & iron. All my friends and family were amazed I did it but it's really super easy I just let them think it's hard

Okay, You've just about convinced me. I just have to find the time! One more ? - When you find a DISign, can you just save it to your computer and edit it? Then print on transfer paper and iron on - right? Thanks!

Have to go check airfares and see if I want to do that now. I change my mind every dang day! I'm leaning toward flying down with DD7 now. My heart aches a little at being apart from DH and DD5 for three days. That will be the most we've ever been apart.
DD5 got her first loose tooth last night! Must have been all the candy and cookies she's been eating later.

And we'll be at DW! This trip was planned pretty much on a whim and since the holidays had taken over, I can't believe it's already so close! I have nothing prepared and need to start shifting gears SOON! We'll be celebrating our 2 dd's b-days there (and we have let them choose where they wanted to eat on each of their day and what parks, shows and attractions they want to see), so they are uber excited to say the least. We are also trying a "new" resort for us... the WL. We always go and visit it seems but just never got to stay there yet, well until this trip! So it should be absolutely fantastic!

Anyway, just wanted to share my excitement.
