Hello Fellow Birds! I'm sorry that I don't have time to go back and read everyone's post. I'm trying to finish up all of my work today, so I can spend the rest of the week getting ready for our trip.

I hope all of you with the tummy bug are getting back on your feet.

I have a question:
How much does it cost to do laundry and does it only use quarters?

Sounds like a lot of us got that bug. DS had it Christmas Eve, I got it late Sat night, DD early Sat am & DH yesterday. It is BAD. DS was so cute Sun he "took care of himself" while mommy was sick. He fixed his own food (mostly peanut butter or ceral) & watched his movies & played quietly. He even tried to let the dogs out by himself but I heard him & caught that one in time. SO as a treat I think I will stop on my way home & pick up the Clone Wars dvd for him.

I know I have kind of slacked off on the Menu of the Day since Christmas. . . . Does everyone want me to continue it or has everyone seen enough??? It doesn't matter to me either way, just let me know!

I am really starting to rethink this January trip. I am so worried that one or all of us are going to be sick. I can just see one of us (probably me) being in the bathroom all night and one of us coughing all night, all in one room.

Noooo! Just think - you're so lucky! You're getting it all out (ahem) of your system now so you'll be super healthy there!!!

I think the colds and coughs are inevitable with these crazy temperature fluctuations. Just find a good cold/cough medicine that doesn't knock you out and you'll be raring to go!

He's getting a little paranoid, he knows that I am usually all packed by now! Soleil~ I wouldn't think you would need over 2 rolls of quarters. We are a fam of 5 & I think I usually use about $30 or so. We got really good dryers at the BC, so I didn't have to keep drying over & over. So, with just 2 of you I would say $20 should be plenty-especially if you just make one trip to the laundromat!!

I can't believe January is pretty much here!!! The last few months since my most recent trip has FLOWN and I am about to start packing and getting ready for the next one (Just 27 days away!!!) It really became real when I got all my stuff in the mail Saturday (DME and WDW welcome packet). WOOOHOOOOOO Thanks for this awesome thread Snowbirds!

Mama Snowbird you are not allowed to rethink anything!! Just make sure you go prepared...I've bought all the stuff for the stomach virus. My bleach wipes are on there way to my house...I bought a couple of travel size lysol sprays and I'm getting a couple of the wet ones packets. Make sure you have cold medicine and all the stuff..just be prepared in case..but no stressing about it LOL!!

I've even bringing with me mini antibacterial soap from Bath and Body to use in my backpack so I can wash hands before I eat!!

In the famous words of one dasterdly lion...Scar..."Be Prepared" LOL

Gosh it seems this "virus" has been making it's way through our thread. I hope I don't catch it from you guys! I am fighting a sinus headache the last few days, but so far, knock wood, no stomach ailments. If you don't count overeating!

Hope you all feel better for your trips! That's what's important right?
I'm having a light week this week at work and plan to use my time wisely - trip planning of course!! I'm going to type up my packing list, ADRs, all my important confirmation #s. Now my binder won't just be full of a bunch of scribbled notes!
