Good morning, all!!

Well, by the time I went home yesterday, it was 18 with a windchill of 5. Brrr.

All this talk of Disney & weather... I think I'm going to take my winter coat with me, anyway! The marathon starts at 6am and that's ALWAYS cold!

Speaking of, DH was bemoaning the back stretch of the Disney marathon, because it goes down regular old streets and not through the parks. He was complaining about how awful and lonely it would be and on and on. He wouldn't believe me when I told him the DIS said that there were chEAR squads all over, specifically for that...

... well, his Runner's World magazine had an article from a woman who had run it before. Luckily, she specifically addressed the back "lonely" stretch and how wonderful and loud it was (complete with characters high fiving the runners!), so he's significantly more relieved now. Good!!

2 days: finals end and hopefully everyone leaves!
9 days: Christmas/break!
12 days: Mom's b-day
15 days: MIL's b-day (and NYE!)
17 days: back to work (yes, on a Friday)
19 days: my b-day!
24 days: DISNEY!!!!!

Good morning! I'm watching the Today show and during weather, the pick city of the day was Orlando!!! It's 80 degress there today! Not fair! I'm suffering in 18 degree weather right now, but with the windchill, it feels like it's 9 degrees! Brrrr!!! I do NOT want to leave the house today, but I have to. Bummer. I hope that everyone stays warm today!

And I just found out that Katiebugsmom and I are on the same flight out of Pittsburgh! Looks like I will get to meet a Snowbird before I even leave PA!

That is so awesome!!

Well the cards that have the go the farthest made it in the mailbox this morning YAY!!! Now tonight while Non-DH is out an about I'm going to wrap his presents...ordered the last of his today.

I also made caramel popcorn this morning for our sweet day in our Science department...AND MOST IMPORTANTLY...

FINALS start today, Finals started today...only 4 more days until Winter Break!!

Good Morning snowbirds! Yesterday at this time in Northeast Ohio it was 50 degrees and nice outside, now it is freezing and they are calling for rain/snow/ ice today. GRR I hate winter and I can't wait to be in Orlando. I dont' want to go outside either today and I don't think i am until I have to go to the inlaws for dinner.
I got my tree all set up this morning, all we have to do is shape it a bit and then off to decorate it and put the brand new star, my mother in law found for me at the disney store. I will have to take a picture and post it cause its soo cute. Mickey and Minnie none the less!

I went into my e-mail today, and found a Disney Destinations one - I was so excited! It's for the discounted merchandise card (way too much money!) but at least it was a PIN! Maybe I'll get other PINs now!

And D made it home safe and sound, after a very long !

Good Morning all!!
Well, we got all our Chirstmas goodies delivered yesterday!! Hopefully our Christmas cards will be ready for pick up today!! I am so behind on that!! I usually have them out by the 5th!!! Oh , well!! At least I can say it's not my fault that they are THIS late!! I do have friends that mail them like 2 days before Christmas- I can't do that!!!
Our weather is pretty crummy too-wet and cold. By Sat. it's supposed to be a cloudy 76. Great-wet and humid and muggy-warm. Just what we want going into Christmas.Texas weather

Other than Christmas cards today, I have to pick up some snax for my dd ballet class-it's open house this week!! So that will be fun-but right now, the thought of dragging myself to the store is not appealing!! Of course, I might as well decide what I want to cook for supper-I hate waiting till 3:00 and still being clueless!! I usually try to decide for a week out so I can go to the store once---but these last 2 weeks have been crazy!!!
Hope you all stay safe and warm today!! Oh--QOTD? I guess Neverland for the places I have alreay been-and Tink's place for something I haven't seen yet! Of course--Tink is with Peter, so is Pixie Hollow in Neverland? I would assume so----I get 2 for 1!! Ha!!!

Thanks for all your responses re: Crystal Palace. I'm going to see what I could get and go from there.

It's bone-chilling cold AGAIN today. Yesterday did not get above zero for the actual temp. Windchills were -20. Not fun.
Today might get up to 4.

Shelly - how fun you get to meet someone right away! Maybe I'll put a Snowbird sign in my van and see someone on the road?! Anything to make the drive more bearable.

Hope everyone has a good day! I've got to get some work done, maybe I'll check back in after lunch. I actually am going out of the office during lunch - more Christmas shopping.

Good Afternoon Snowbirds!

Hope everyone is warm and toasty! It is a VERY COLD DAY here today! -40C with the wind! I think it may have warmed up a wee bit since I DROVE DD7 to school this morning! YUP! Just checked the ole thermometre and is a sunny -28C! Gosh that's almost balmy! I am so going to be swimming in January! 15 degrees above zero is gonna be sooooo nice after being in the arctic temps for a month! SO NICE!

QOTD: I would love to visit Ariel in her under the sea world! My other would be to visit Radiator Springs to see Mater's Junkyard!

My ticker is at all ones today! How cool is that?! We're all getting so close and I'm just so thrilled for everyone! Yesterday, I found out that a woman from my tap class and a friend from church and her family are going to be at Disney the same times as us! Yea! Snowbird friends and friends from home. What more could a girl want?

Just got back from the dentist. Now my teeth are all clean and pretty for Mickey!
