It seems that there are very few snowbirds who are happy about the new promo? I just got off the phone after applying the code to our POR reservation and we saved 270 $ with it!! I was kind of bummed when Disney announced the 4+3 offer, since we could stay only for three nights, so I am thrilled that this deal came along

I haven't gone to any but I'm really looking forward to Crystal Palace and Chef's Mickey!

Breakfast - the only one we've done is Chef Mickey's and we loved it. We're doing Ohana this trip. I'd like to do Crystal Palace just to get inside MK early, but my girls don't get too excited about Pooh etc. Even though I do!! My DH and I used to be Pooh and Piglet.

I forget who was saying how when they were teaching they'd disinfect wipe everything in the room down...I was at school today and DD7's teacher asked the class, do you remember what I want for Christmas? Self control (for the students) and More Clorox Disinfecting wipes!!! LOL. I know what I'm getting her!

Leaving for Florida in ONE MONTH!!! I can't believe it!!

Good Evening Snowbirds,

I had an excellent day today with my little ones. We went to Chuck E. Cheese and they had a hoot. We also took along their one cousin who is 13 but she still had a great time. We then went over to the local mall close to it and had a look around. It was hard on my two ones as they wanted everything now! The hardest was for DD as some stores had the newest Webkinz out and she neeeeeeeddddssss them!

I then came home and made Jello and supper and now will be making cupcakes. Today I have back all my energy and seem to be accomplishing so much more than the last 2 weeks.

This morning I had the parent-teacher interview with their teachers. I found out that my DD is being bullied at school because of some of her likes/opinions and won't back down. The teacher is working on this. DD loves Hanah Montana and all the other girls swear they don't like her but the teacher said they all do like her and give DD a hard time due to her sticking to her guns and not backing down from her liking her publicly. I will have to reinforce with DD to stay strong and not give in and she is doing really well. I do believe that others are making fun of our trip to Disney. There again, it could just be jealousy for leaving for Florida for 2 weeks. She is starting to be at the tough age.

Good Morning and Happy Friday!!

More good news my last homework assignment was turned in last night so I only have one test to do left and I'm done with grad classes for a long time. I will have my Masters in Ed with 20grads hours of science which will allow me to teach as an instructor at a college or university in Science YAY!

I also planned our teen Christmas party so that's out of the way YAY!! Now to focus on the house and the play I'm in that takes place on the 14th and I'm still not all that confident on my lines...so pray for me...but it will all work out, it always does...

So what is my new countdown 14 days...you heard right 14 days...until CHRISTMAS BREAK...and 2 whole weeks off...man I may always be behind in grading...but nothing is more glorious than having Christmas Vacation time LOL!!

Well now that I have mini ranted LOL...have a great day!

You inspired me to call WDW reservations to check if I could cash on the new promo since the other one didn't. Back in the summer, I had made a spreadsheet of how much our room would cost - in talking to the CM, she told that my estimation was almost $700 too much. I have no idea where I had gotten the larger number. She also told me that my current AAA discount would be better than the new offer so I kept everything the same.

A question, that has already been addressed I am sure - has anyone bought park tickets through AAA? The prices posted online seem to be less, at retail, than what WDW offers - for instance, the price for a 4 day park hopper [adult] is 286.68 through WDW. This is listed on AAA as 269.00/retail and 260 with their discount.

Does anyone know why the discrepancy? Are they selling the tickets at an old price?

Akerhaus with the Princess's at Epcot for my girls. I guess I might be in the minority, but my family didn't care much for CP. My girls think they are a bit old for the characters and the dinner/supper food wasn't much different than Ponderosa here at home.

We love the Crystal Palace breakfast! We don't really care about the characters there (although they are always very fun and interactive ) but the buffet is huge and clean, the food is great, and we have aways had excellent service there! And it is a huge plus to get into MK before opening!

We like Crystal Place. I prefer breakfast at CRT, but the last time we ate there we felt like they rushed us to much for the price you pay.

Happy Birthday Walt!

I know I've said this before, but my biggest pet peeve is when people talk down to me as if I am a teenager.

I just had a man walk in and I'm pretty sure he is younger than my husband. He gave me the "Goodmorning, Young Lady" business and then baby talked me. UGH!

Okay, I'm catching up on what I've missed. I'll be back soon!

I'm with you on this! It happens to me ALL the time! I was at a grocery store with my DD and I was buying her a candy bar. The cashier said "Oh, isn't it nice that you're sister is buying you a candy bar!" I was like, "I'm her mother!" The guy felt really bad and couldn't believe it when I said that I was 26.

We just got back from the mall. DD wanted to go see Santa. We got a very cute picture and Santa took lots of time with her just chatting about what she wanted. It was wonderful! We only had to wait in line for about 5 minutes too!

I can't wait until tomorrow. DD and I are going to see The Nutcracker. It's the BalletMet version and they're performing with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra! It's going to be great! Then, on Sunday, my parents are taking my DD to my dad's work Christmas party. She has quite the holiday weekend!
