Something is kind of wrong, though probably not major. I'm just trying to get clarification on "do I need to come to the hospital for the exam, since I'm not even 2 weeks post-op or can I go to my regular doctor?"

After a lengthy hold, the nurse said "Hmm, I don't know. I'll have to ask a doctor." But she then agreed that I could make an appointment with my regular office while waiting to hear back.

(My appointment is at 9:45... I don't know that I'll hear back before then!)

Worst case scenario is a week of antibiotics so it's nothing really really awful!!

Thanks!!

Sarah hopefully you'll get some clarification!! I hope everything goes well for ya!! Have a happy thanksgiving!

 Good luck! Hope things go well! We'll be thinking about you.

I can't wait to see the reactions of all the baby Snowbirds on Christmas morning!

I wanted to get the rods to bring home as gifts to people. I hope it's still three! I may be bringing home rice krispie treats instead.
Me too! I hope it changes between now and January or I'll have to pick up something different too! :sad2:
I have been so busy not a lot of time to DIS.... I miss you all!!!!! Off to do some shopping though.... trying to get all my Christmas shopping :santa: done prior to surgery....

later peeps......................
Good luck shopping! Hope you get some great deals!
I need to search them out- we missed them completely. DD loved this movie... she carried around the Celia Mcdonald's toy everywhere. she lost it and was so sad, I had to hunt one down, we then found the original Celia Welia- in grandma's couch!!!
:sulley:
Isn't that always the way it goes? :headache:
I went to our local Disney Store on my lunch today. DH said we had bought enough , so only could we get things if they were really discounted. I figured we were save because nothing would be too discounted this close to christmas.... WRONG!!!
We bought....
2008 Mickey Christmas Wreath ::MickeyMo
2008 Tinkerbell tree Topper - her wings light up, they had her dressed in green as a Tinker or in her original white dress. I chose Tinker dress!:tink:
2008 Tinkerbell tree ornament in white dress $7.00
Set of 4 bugs life pins $6.99
Pair of Belle Sandals/shoes that light up for $8.99 ( DD is getting the yellow dress for christmas)
DH bought the wreath and tree topper they were 40%.
:cool1:
I'm sticking my fingers in my ears and saying "I must not shop. Gotta save for Disney. Gotta save for Disney. No matter how good the deals are. I must not shop!"" Ugh! It's not working! How much was that wreath again?
Good morning Snowbirds!

:yay: One day until DH's birthday! :yay:

:goodvibes Two days until Thanksgiving! :goodvibes

:santa: One month until Christmas and we can tell the boys!! :santa:

:cool1: 8 weeks from right now I will be boarding the plane to WDW!!! :cool1:
I love seeing our countdowns getting shorter!

That's what we said we'd do- but we're so excited for this trip, it pacifies us!
We're already talking our next trip and we haven't even gone on this trip.
:rotfl:

I really just wanted to see if they've made the changes yet.

It's a standard three hours barring something extremely unusual. Just as they reserve the right to change park hours, they reserve the right to shorten EMH. But not on a regular basis.

That happened a couple of months ago, I believe. There were a whole lot of threads on the Theme Park forum for a while. There were mixed reviews - some people thought showing the KTTW card was awful and slow, and others said it was no big deal. I think everyone will just get used to it.

QOTD - I'd love to hug the Monsters Inc folks, too, or maybe Dory.

I don't venture out to the other boards very much anymore. I don't know the difference, because I've never used EMH before. Actually for this trip I probably won't be in the parks that long before closing. I'll probably be showing my KTTW card at the entrance anyways. We'll see if we actually use the EMH anyways. I'm pretty certain that we won't use the morning ones, and the evening ones will be hit or miss. Honestly, I think it would be less convenient to be touring the parks and have to go pick up a wristband, than it would to just pull out my KTTW card.

Good morning, Snowbirds. Miserable day here - there were train problems and we had to wait out in the cold rain for more than 1/2 hour for the next train, packed on like sardines, and just to get to work! I'm sitting here soaked - nothing worse than wet socks! Yuck!

Anyone got some cheese to go with my whine?? :drinking1

Hope all is well with you, Sarah!

Be back later, folks!

Whoo hoo! :yay: Yay for Thanksgiving Break! I get off in an hour and I'm skipping my Bureaucracy class today. (I almost never skip class, so this is a new experience for me) My Disney paper has me very secure in my A, and my professor did say he would not be discussing any test material today, so off to JoCo to shop with Mommy, and eat my weight in Thanksgiving Food!

I'm hoping to "finish" my Disney Planning during the break. We'll see if it sticks...
My brother asked me the other day if I get "bored" planning for Disney all the time, so I asked him if he gets bored playing the same video games over and over again.

:rotfl: Good one!! I would give anyone an A if they did a paper on Disney!! Enjoy your break!

Thanks, all! It's nothing serious, just some "irritation" which is fine by me. I suspect my body just said "alright, I've had it!" with the surgery and life from there. I was given a topical prescription medication, which seems to be helping (or my brain thinks it helps!).

But really, thanks for all the well wishes!! :grouphug:

(and snykymom, I think you need a break!)

Probably only like 50 or so!!!! :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

That's what cameras are for!! I'm debating between easy point and shoot vs. fancy-pants camera for Thanksgiving and my niece!

Morning Snowbirds :goodvibes

Robin, tell me more!! Do they have an online presence? ;)

Hello Snowbirds,

I just got back from AAA...we are paid in full. :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: ...and I only had to put $1800 on the credit card...we had almost $800 on our Disney Rewards card...so excited about that...it's like a big discount.

Hello! I am currently in the middle of a very busy day but wanted to drop in and say HI!

Sarah, glad everything is okay - you had me worried there for a few minutes while I was scrolling through to catch up! :thumbsup2 Glad you are all right!

Hope everyone has a great day! HAPPY THANKSGIVING WEEK to all my American snowbird friends! Enjoy your holiday! :goodvibes

Okay, so my DH's company has a plant in Lakeland Florida, about an hour from WDW. (yes I know, what are we doing here in PA??? :rotfl: ) So anyway they hired a guy to do DH's job down here. He is up here this week "shadowing" DH. So DH tells him that we are going to WDW at the beginning of the year (doesn't give him specific dates) and tells him that we are a little concerned about it being cold when we are there since Florida has already been having some chilly weather. And the guy says (not knowing our dates) - oh don't worry, the only time we get any actual cold weather is the last 2 weeks of December and the first 2 weeks of January. :faint: We are going the 3rd week of January!!! Now I am really worried. I will be fine if it is in the 60's & sunny or warmer. But if it is in the 60's & cloudy and windy or cooler I am going to be too cold!!!

I know, I am worrying too much!!!
