Hey snowbirds,

I'm not sure if someone is already organizing something for this date but here it goes. Some of us are planning to meet up on January 20th. We don't know where yet and the exact time, but we'll figure that out. If you would like to join us, stop by my PTR (link below) and let us know! I tend to get lost in all the messages on here as we're such a chatty bunch!

It looks like there is a meet on the 20th. . . Not sure who is going. . . You'd have to be in MK to go to that one, it is during the parade. I think Sharadoc is going. . .

Feel free to schedule another one if another location suits you better! Is this the POP Meet you are talking about in your TR? That sounds like fun!

Now Trixie has done a fantastic job of keeping us "FIXATED" on this thread, and I would like to try to post a few. We will see if this works, it's my first time. I would like to try to pay homage to a few of the "more seasoned" men that we all think are DREAMY. (Keep in mind, Chris Cornell is over 40---ayayay!)

So since I can't seem to figure out how to do it, I will ask Trixie.

I would like to introduce to the ladies in the room a man that the men will appreciate as well, Mr. Cal Ripken.

And if you have time, is it me or is Mike Rowe from Dirty Jobs kinda hot?

Nopwe no limit you may get more than 1 cd but it's same cost no matter what.

Good Morning Snowbirds Well, it's chilly here-not like you northern girls have it though! At 7:30 this morning it was around 40. So, Friday is here at last!!! Which leaves me with 9 Fridays before I go!!! YIPPEE!!! Well, I am going to get my tree up and decorated!!! It's been in my foyer in a box since Saturday! Ha!! But, I had to rearrange the furniture and school has been BUSY!! Trying to get it all done before T-day!!! So, we only have 3 1/2 days of left!!! I think I am going to breakdown and buy me some UGGS today!! I have been debating--if I find some as cute/comfortable but cheaper, I may have to go that route. Croc boots sure are cute--but I like the Uggs better--it's definitely getting colder here!! We usually don't get it for awhile, but it's colder today!!!! Hope your Fridays are great and that all who are ill, surgery-recovering, or just plain ole wore out have a wonderful day!!!

Sarah - I'm willing to meet up at some point during my trip. I'm 7-15. My sister and I have to go through our "days" and figure out where we will be what day, so if you have any suggestions of something to do, let me know so maybe I can swing it to be in that park that day. ( I have a paranoid father that would FREAK if I went someplace by myself....it's DW and I'm 24...I think I can handle it Dad )

I'm up for a meet!! Will be there from the 10th - 16th. Since it will be a girls thing from the sounds of it count in me & my friend D who is going with us. Will be great to have some kid free time.

Well, we'll have to coordinate our schedules! Crzyred - I understand how parents are, though I am pretty sure Kayte and I can't cause too much trouble upon you.

The radio guy informed us, as the alarm went off, that it was 18 with a windchill of 5. Um. I'm not COMPLETELY ready for this yet, thank you!! And they're talking snow accumulations on Monday. Get this - the state has indicated that the towns/townships need to cut down on overtime for road clearing. So, wait, if there's a 4am snowstorm, they can't start plowing until business hours? The decision maker on that one must have looked like this:

Anyway, Twilight tonight with friends! Hooray! Half day of work! Double hooray!

Well I woke up to some interesting news...apparently we are supposed to get a hard freeze tonight. They are talking 20 degrees in my neck of the woods...seriously don't they know I totally don't have any more winter clothes when I moved from Alaska LOL!!! I actually have to find my winter coat now!!

Bummer!!! I always enjoyed the UofE and I haven't seen the Ellen version yet. I know that my DD would have enjoyed the dinosaurs.

Yup, just checked Disney's site (Epcot Calendar) and it now shows for January-

"Ellen's Energy Adventure: Closed for Refurbishment [January 5, 2009 to January 31, 2009]"

I guess that answers our question of any new refurbs. Thanks for the heads up.

Exactly...what is up with this...seriously 20 degress in November. We don't see our first hard freeze usually until late December/early January...this is going to be the death of me.

I apologize to any of you who live in negative degree ville and witness snow I realize my rants come off as a pansy...well...we all know how I embrace that title. LOL

Good morning Snowbirds!

Wow, some of you are REALLY snowy! It is chilly here in the mid-Atlantic area (mid-30s) but we haven't had to break out the snow shovels yet. We did get flurries the other day, but I didn't happen to look out the window at the right moment and missed them!

I am super excited because my sister and nieces (ages 13 and 5) are coming tomorrow for a visit! My sister was here in the spring, but the girls haven't met their baby cousin yet. They live in TX so we don't get to see each other very often. My house is a mess so I need to get busy cleaning (not that I have to impress my sister, but her house is always immaculate...but then again she has domestic help). I'm sure I'll be checking in throughout the day as I take a break (read: procrastinate!) from my housekeeping efforts!

Ooh, thanks for the update. I haven't seen the Ellen version either. And I think DH was looking forward to taking a nice nap there!
