Shelly when you're feeling better...
I changed some of my ADR's :headache:

I canceled Coral Reef on the 27th and moved Chef Mickey's from the 26th to

Jan. 27- Chef Mickey's @ 10:50am

Feel better soon!

:thumbsup2 :cool1:

When I was pregnant and teaching I would scrub everything all day with Clorox wipes and wash my hands a million times. I was known as the germophobic teacher and made my students wash their hands soooo many times throughout the day. Might I add that I taught 1st grade and little fingers- and pencils- like to go up noses very frequently! I didn't get sick once that winter! I went through a lot of lotion and had very dry hands though!

Welcome and congrats on finishing Grad school! :cool1:

I laughed out loud at that imagery! I think I'll buy the teacher some Clorox wipes!!

Good afternoon friends! How's everyone doing? I'm doing alright here, tired, but I'm alright.

Let's see, I guess I could do a countdown...
8 days til Trans Siberian Orchestra
23 days til Christmas
36 days til DISNEY!!
Well I love visit Colorado.

I love TSO!! And what part of Colorado do you like? we always say we are going---but end up at Disney!!!!
Hi guys,
Sorry I have not been around to much. Hell has broken out at my house. My 18 year old is having big problems and she thinks that I am the root of many of them. I am working 7 days a week when I can to make money to cover what I can since DH lost his job. We are not doing badly right now, but we won't stay afloat for very long. We are going on our trip because everything has been prepaid, so I would lose money. I am a mess and gloomy and down so I haven't posted much. I do not want to be a downer at Christmas. Huge hugs to all who need it and hugs to all!
glo

 to you, Glo! We are not having a very good Christmas, either. I'm so sorry that you are going through so sorry that you are going through all of this.

Sorry for both of you and all our friends who are having a hard time this year.

Maggied---prayers going up for you!!!!

I had an early dental appt for all 3 kids this morning. It went well, but they always dread it:eek: My oldest especially!! But, we went & picked up a friend of his to spend the night for his bday!! :cake: He'll be 13 tomorrow:scared1: I can't believe it!!! I don't feel old enough to have a kid 13.Oh well, he's an awfully sweet kid and a cutie patootie to boot!!!!! I just love him to death!!!!! And he looks more like me than the other 2. Ha!!! So, he's gotta be really cute, right?!!! So, tomorrow will be bday party..which always leaves me :crazy2: :faint: So, I might post sporadically for a couple of days---and it may not make sense!!

Hope your evenings are blest!!! Talk to you later!!

Shelly---:santa: should bring you a new computer!!!!

Christmas, church play and OY all in the same sentence! I almost lost my coffee! Thanks for the laugh, Jen!

YAY for making ya Laugh!!!!! I really don't have a clue how I'm going to get everything done...I know at some point it will all come together...just too much the next two weeks!! I'm not even trying to think about our Teen's Christmas party I'm in charge of and need to be planning ASAP LOL!

Jen, are you feeling any better? Drinking tons of water? I drank a bottle earlier and though about you!!!

Afternoon everyone! It's been snowing here all day. It's been a pretty snow, not blizzard like, but gently and pretty. I'll take some pics tonight down the street and send those off to my sister because she gets jealous of all the snow. We're supposed to get 3-5 inches, and right now according to my Disney ruler (yes you read that right...) we're at 3" in the back yard! *oh and this is good snow ball making snow....hmmmm...this could get fun when I go out to shovel!:stir: :rolleyes1

hugs to all who need it and hugs to all!
glo

Hugs to you! It's hard being 18. Just tell her everyday that no matter what, you love her (this coming from someone who can't even remember that last time someone *anyone* said that to her....). These are some hard times, but just keep your head up high, you'll make it through.

My grandfather lives in Estes Park, which is at the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. Its gorgeous up there. One aunt lives in Longmont which is about 20-30 minutes south (or down the canyon...yes literally...in CO terms:rotfl: ) depending on weather conditions and my other aunt lives in a suburb of Denver. I'm hoping to get out there for a long weekend next fall sometime. The last time I was there was for my Grandmother's funeral, so I think I need to go for fun this time.

Jen, are you feeling any better? Drinking tons of water? I drank a bottle earlier and though about you!!!

Actually I am...I'm still dealing with mild headaches but that might be associated with the time of month that it is...and my throat is sore...I'm going to start taking Zicam again and yes I have been drinking the water and taking my antibiotics...I really hope I can start introducing more exercise into my life...thanks for asking Shawna!!

Gosh girl, excercise is hard!! Ha--which is why I can't seem to stick with it!!! Hopefully we can all get motivated!!! I actually do better in the fall/winter when its not so hot and humid.I love walking in the afternoon with cool weather!!!!!

Glad to hear I'm not the only one going crazy! I have yet to put up my lights and if my DD asks me one more time about them, I might just go off the deep end! I keep telling myself I can do it this weekend, but that's a no go. My DD and I are going to The Nutcracker on Saturday and then I have a dance team appearance pretty much all day on Sunday. Maybe I could put them up on Saturday evening....who knows??!! I wish that the days in December were longer than 24 hours. That would make me a happy camper for sure! I truly do LOVE this time of year, but this is the first time I've had Disney on the brain as well. Not that that's a bad thing!

Hi Snowbirds. Hugs to everyone feeling blue today.
28 days till Disney for me. I myself enjoy shopping every weekend for gifts till Christmas. I don’t think I have ever been done by this time of the month.

I can not even imagine being done that early. This weekend we will put up the decorations.

Okay, all this talk of flight schedule changes made me go look and lo and behold Delta has hosed us, potentially, on our outbound flights to MCO. They have given us a connection of under 45 minutes in Cinci - meaning we have to take the bus from terminal to terminal and all that jazz with about 35 minutes. I don't know if it's even possible to do that, assuming no delays, and still be at the departure gate the required 15 minutes prior to boarding! Grrr... Now I don't know what to do. :sad2:

I had a flight once leaving Louisville KY with a layover in Memphis, then to my home airport. Well I was supposed to land in Memphis 10 minutes after my connecting flight left. When I called to change the lady said it must have been the time change, otherwise they wouldn't have done that :rotfl: .

I'd do some checking online and see if there are any flights after yours that you could possibly be put on if you are worried about the time.

Hi all, I am so excited for my trip. My mom and I are going to Disney World to celebrate the end of my graduate school. I can't wait to get to the CBR.
Hope you all have a great day!
Molly

:welcome: and congrats! Won't it be nice to leave MN in January?

I've been on the run all day. Grocery shopping, Christmas shopping, training on Excel at work (now I can make spreadsheets too!), dinner...oh somewhere in there I think I did some :laundy: too. No wonder I'm tired!

I hope all of you that are struggling or suffering are able to find peace at some point. We're here for you. Keep looking toward Disney and maybe that will help! :pixiedust:

Jen - do you have a kidney infection/stone? Feel better soon.
Same to all of you with the "crud" virus that so many seem to have.

I'm going to go disinfect my house now!! No, seriously.

Good evening all.... So today my exam is done and over with. I am exhausted!
I reviewed the park hours again and our ADR's. I noticed on the parks with EMH am we booked our breakfasts in those parks! Why did I do that. the whole point we book those is for the quiet of the parks. So we're going to rethink this and possibly try to switch.
We are on the deluxe plan and there are a few open spots left for my lunches which we planned on CS... now I am thinking use the snacks and book a 2 credit TS???? why am I thinking this now... at the 180 day mark I was all set and knew what I wanted and we got them all!
Some of the restaurants we have picked are not on the dining plan officially, and it is December already. So I am worried about that!

I am part of the didipicktherightadr club!:scared1:

I was excited to revisit my disney planning, now I just feel stressed!

Just checking in! :grouphug: to all who need it! I've been feeling a bit stressed lately too. Lots of anxiety with no known reason. I believe it's totally hormonal, but don't know what to do about it and I am anti-meds (even tho- I work in the mental health field...go figure! Oh well, this too shall pass! I think I'm going to schedule me a bday pedi for this weekend, especially since I get to spend my bday getting my first mammogram...I've been calling it Mammy Monday!! :rotfl2:

But, we went & picked up a friend of his to spend the night for his bday!! :cake: He'll be 13 tomorrow:scared1: I can't believe it!!! Happy birthday to your baby- ahem I mean young man! :rolleyes1 I hope he has a fun one and that you don't cry too much! My son will be 5 in April and heads to Kindergarten next year. I look at him every day and wonder where my baby has gone. :sad2: And then I look over at my daughter and she'll be two in February- where did the time go? Eeek and when did I enter my 30's!!!! :scared1: :confused3
Just tell her everyday that no matter what, you love her (this coming from someone who can't even remember that last time someone *anyone* said that to her....).
Awww shucks! Your Snowbird friends love you!!!!!:grouphug: :flower3:
I am part of the didipicktherightadr club!:scared1:
Hooray I joined the didipicktherightadr club today too!!!!! Mine were all set then I got the dreaded email that Coral Reef is no longer doing the diver and menu and I changed them again! I had no trouble getting a Chef Mickey for a group of 10 this close so perhaps the crowds won't be too bad in January. :confused3

Question for everyone that celebrates Christmas regarding Santa...

My hubby and I can't decide what to do as far as the wrapping goes.

I grew up with stuff from my parents being wrapped but anything from Santa wasn't wrapped.

My hubby grew up with everything wrapped and labeled who it was from- parents or Santa, which is how he figured things out so young- mom's handwriting was the same as Santa's, Santa used the same gift wrap and labels as mom.

We just can't decide what to do.:confused3

What does everyone else do?

Just wait until you find yourself looking at the tail lights of the car as your :cutie: drives away from Thanksgiving, going to her "home" that has nothing to do with you! :guilty: You know that this is the way it's supposed to be, but still, there's that tug . . .

We open presents on Christmas Eve ( I don't know why, I don't like it). So we would have presents wrapped under the tree from my parents/siblings. Then we would go to church and when we came home there would be a few things that were just sitting in front of the tree unwrapped and those were from Santa. Also, Santa filled the stockings!
