Hello my Snowbird friends!

It's been forever since I've had the chance to catch up with all of your many posts. Lots of double digit dancing going on around here lately. I LOVE IT!! We are actually under 80 days now I am SO ready for a vacation.

I spent my day out hunting for Disney/Pixar Cars. It's a good thing that DS is so darn cute. The things I do for him. I was camped out at the local KMart waiting for some hard to find Cars. Now I know how my mom felt with the Cabbage Patch Kids.

Started picking up some small odds n ends for Christmas. We had pictures taken of DS and his cousins for my mom and dad. They are fantastic! I love the instant gratification that Picture People provide. Framed pictures in an hour!

Anyway . . . hope you are all have a great weekend so far!

Hey Guys!! Checking in way late...this weekend was our Homecoming game at School and then we had a teen's harvest party yesterday evening and today I washed Dogs for the local Humane society as part of a fundraiser..I had so much fun it was great!! The best part of the weekend was that my National Honor Society students won their spirit truck competition that was so much fun!!!! Now I have to study for a test that is due Monday and finish up more of my PTR (uughh..I'm so sluggish on it lately LOL)

Anyways 40% off room rate would be great. I hope Florida resident deals come out soon LOL...I would love to save at least some on my room rate. That would mean more money for me to spend on souvenirs YAY!!

Peaches..I would never think that kids should be forced to play with anyone..I totally agree that Almost 5 and 7 is a big age difference. It is just hard because we live next door.

On a happy note, we went trick or treating at Sesame Place today and it was very cute. We have season passes so we go alot.

Oh, Peanut...I hope my post didn't sound mean. I don't remember exactly what I said, but I didn't mean to say that you were forcing these children to play together. I do sympathize with you and your dd. But, the age difference was just a big red flag. I just wanted to voice the opinion that the older girl might not be being really mean, but just not want to play with a child that she might consider "a baby." I'm sure it is hard. We've had some conflicts in our building because of 2-3 year ages differences with the neighbor kids. And 3 is truly a crowd at times. The 3rd child, most often the youngest child, gets left out. I remember growing up with 2 neighbor friends who were both a year older than me. When it was just one of them, everything was fine. But add in that 3rd and BAM! Instant conflict. And I was almost always the odd man out.

Hope my peeps are doing well this morning! Scot and I decided to buy some cheese, then go to this yummy (but Kosher...hence the "bringing our own cheese" part) Deli that sells delicious hoagies. We're going to buy the hoagie, take it to a nearby park to eat. Then head to an Italian gelato place that we've always wanted to try, but haven't due to the cost restriction of buying 6 of us gourmet sorbet. I know it will be fun! At least more fun that cleaning out our kitchen drawers...which is what we've been doing thsi morning!

There have been some "pin codes" released for the whole of 2009 but they have to be emailed or mailed to you specifically! I have not received anything yet! Not sure if they are just Canadian or for everyone! Going out for Breakfast this morning so can't stick around to chat! Hope everyone has a great morning - I'll check back as soon as I can!

I actually got that pin code on monday...I couldnt believe it!! It was the first one that I have ever gotten. It saved me 20% off of my room rate at the WL.

This is his second year with season tickets, so I'm used to it now. I'll probably head over to my parents house to watch the game. It's no fun watching it all alone! Have a great Sunday everyone!

How did things work out with your flights? We ended up going out of Rochester (direct!). JetBlue got us basically the same flights we had (and they ate the difference in price). It's a hour+ more travel to the airport but we're going up the night before and staying in a hotel. These flights gained us back almost three hours of park time! The best part is no more connecting flights for the kids to deal with!

Thanks! It felt great, I was soooooo excited. I called my husband and was talking a mile a minute trying to tell him that we had finally gotten the much desired pin code and he was like huh??? So the excitment was shared with my 3 yr old who really didnt understand me either. Oh well at least I can share with my friends on the dis.

The kids are going to a roller skating party after church- they are excited--I don't know why--they hate roller skating. They'll probably just stand and yack at the kids who whiz past them!!!! Oh well--all their little buddies should be there-so that's all that counts. Have a blessed day!!

I got an email the other day with a pin code but it was only for 2008.... nothing into 2009.............. maybe there is still hope!!!

We would have left at 6:00am arriving at 11:47am. Compared to leaving at 7:00am and arriving at 9:57am. Coming home, leaving at 5:47pm and arriving at 11:56pm versus 6:05pm to 8:43pm. We are saving almost 6 1/2 hours of (airplane/airport) travel time. We'll take the extra travel time in our vehicle. At least we were all able to get flights!
