Were back from our beautiful day of soccer! We hit 82 degrees today, kind of unusual for PA in mid October. :goodvibes

We had one win and one loss today. Both the boys did great! :cool1:

I think tomorrow is my 100 day mark. . . Is that right Trixie? Anyone else? I'm bummed I can't tell the kids!!

Hi everyone! It's late in the day and I'm just not checking in. We've had a good weekend just lazing around at my parents. G is feeling much better and we took Belle for a long walk this afternoon. It's in the mid-70's here and it feels wonderful! Last night G and I shared a cup of Godiva Cocoa and really talked for the first time since the surgery. Today I baked Amish Friendship Bread. It is DELISH!!!! :thumbsup2

BellaSoleil - Hope your DH is feeling better!

I have been meaning to tell you, my dad had several major abdominal surgeries when my parents were first married and my sister and I were young. I know it's so rough now, but my parents' bond grew so strong through all that they went through. They have such a strong relationship because of it.

Thanks! I know this is going to make our marriage much stronger! It means alot for you to share that with me.

Hello everyone! I'm sitting on my couch all depressed because my sister's wedding is over. :sad1: Whenever a big event is over, I get really sad. This past week has been filled with so much preparation, and now it's nothing. Anyways....

We had THE most perfect day! It was about 72 or so here in Buffalo so that was wonderful. We had strapless dresses and were never cold. We took some beautiful outside pictures with the colored leaves and the most perfect blue sky as our backdrop. The reception was amazing and I danced the night away. This morning we had a big brunch at my parents house. I'm in need of a nap, but I had to get on here and catch up.

As for the sports things....I wasn't a huge sports fan growing up, but I am now. I love NASCAR and I've been to Watkins Glen a few times. My favorite driver retired a few years ago (Rusty Wallace) so I'm now a Dale Jr. fan. I also love hockey, football and lacrosse. I'm feel so lucky to live in Buffalo and have 3 professional sports teams! We have the Sabres (hockey), the Bills (football) and the Bandits (lacrosse-they won the Championship this past season!). I didn't play sports when I was younger (soccer for 1yr when I was 6), because all I did was dance. Now, I'm on the professional dance team for the Bandits! So, I've combinded my love of dance and sports!

I'm so glad! :yay: You should post pictures! I will be beside myself at my sisters wedding.

I will definately post pictures soon. Most likely sometime tomorrow. I have been a wreck all day! I just burst into tears every now and then. My sister got engaged on Christmas, so we have been talking about this wedding for 9 months or so. I didn't even cry yesterday! I was close a few times, but I pulled myself together. It was just such a beautiful day and I wish I could go back and do it all again.

We had bagels and coffee at my parents house in the morning and then we went to the salon. We wore our tank tops that said Bride, Maid of Honor, Flower Girl and Bridesmaid. We also had so much fun on our super cool limo bus! My DD LOVED it!!! Speaking of her, she did such a great job all day long. When we got to the church, she got a little antsy. However, when it came time to walk down the aisle, she did great. She threw her little petals and looked so cute! The photographer took TONS of pictures and she smiled in each and every one of them.

Well, I need to stop talking about it because I'm getting all emotional again!

Goodness! I could just cry with you! My sister brought her boyfriend over for us to meet for the first time today. She's says she will marry him, but she ALWAYS says that and changed boyfriend twice a year. I'm not getting my hopes up.

Can't wait to see the pics!

Mmmmmmm this sounds amazing! I'm so excited for Thanksgiving dinner. Hopefully my terrible gastroparesis will be better and I can have salad and dessert. At least turkey, mashed potatoes and stuffing are easy to digest and on my list of "safe" foods!

We are huge sports fans...well some sports at least. Love the Red Wings, been going to games since I was a kid. We watch the Tigers also - Maggilo is my Tiger. I am huge Michigan State Spartan fan...older sister is a huge Michigan Wolverine fans...makes Saturdays interesting around here. Don't watch the Losins...sorry the Lions...but we love the Tennessee Titans and also like the the Colts and Patriots. We are not into basketball, Nascar, and golf.

I was thinking about Invincible just the other day when the QOTD was about favorite Disney movies. My DDs and I also loved The Game Plan (The Rock, football, and ballet...something for everyone). :thumbsup2

Is Troy Aikman still around the Dallas area? I know he does some commentary now, but does his legend live on? He may have been my first pro football crush.

I def loved Troy-boy!!! He was sooooo cute!! I don't see much of him now-I think he sometimes is commentator:confused3 Not sure--He's still a hunk!

What is Amish Friendship bread? I think I need a recipe!! NDG--how cool about Paddle-to-the-Sea!!!! Maybe I should take a trip up there as well!! Ha! Anything for education, right?:teacher:

Bella~ Glad things are getting better for G.

Good Morning Everybody! :goodvibes I know lots of you have kids off or are off yourselves...have a fun holiday!

We're back into the normal routine after DDs had three days off last week. I have to admit, it's nice to have the house to myself again today, but there's lots of mess to take care of after all the playing and running around.

DD9 has another basketball game, and DD6 has gymnastics. Mondays have been busy days for us. :car:

I do have a question for all the WDW veterans out there. Is there tons of jewelry available there? I mean real, gold jewelry, not costume jewelry. I have to wear real gold or my skin turns weird colors. :scared: I'd really like a nice, classy Mickey or Tink pendant. Possible?

Have a good one!

Good morning! Just catching up after a busy couple of days. You ladies were chatty this weekend! New week is starting which brings us another week closer to Disney!!!

so when does everyone think we will hear about any promotions... I told my DS if Disney Visa came out with free dining and ticket upgrades then I would upgrade us to the POLY..... any chance they will come out with both??????
one can only hope...........

I'm hoping with you!!! I check several times a day just in case they release something early. I hope I didn't get the Disney Visa for nothin' ! I could really use some free dining more than anything.

Hey, Peeps! Did you miss me? :confused3 I went to the Mediterranean Sea with friends today for some R&R. It was FUN!:thumbsup2 Gorgeous weather, though a bit nippy for swimming. The kids and the husbands got in the water! It's our day off on Sundays. Of course, ask me where Scot is right now. Yep. At a business meeting!:sad2: And that's what happens when you can't say no!

How cool to just go hang out at the Mediterranean Sea for the day! :yay:

A good cup of hot cocoa always makes things better! Hope his recovery continues to go smoothly!

I came up with tomorrow as our 100 day mark as well. That means a double double digit dance on Tuesday!!!

I'm double digits this week too!!! How exciting! :woohoo:

Just checked Disney and was soooo happy to read....

Your next vacation is 103 days away!

Can't wait to see you real soon!

:yay: :woohoo:  :thumbsup2 :cheer2: Which is really 102 days away because I'm counting the road trip as part of our vacation!!! The fun begins the minute my car pulls out of the driveway- is that cheating? I'll be double digits on Thursday!!!
