Wow it looks like CBR is the place to be!

Anybody at SSR? I already feel so alone in that far flung region of the world! I really hoping my BWV waitlist comes through!

Howdy Snowbirds! Just checking back to see what's up! EVERYBODY - GO READ JENJOLT'S PTR - it's great! :cool1: great editing Trixie! :)

KIM (my now twin I was dasterdly seperated from birth from) stop you're making me blush!!! AND I must agree I have the best editor on the planet!!

I haven't seen it, I will have to do that! :thumbsup2

If you're a history buff you should see the American Adventure too! It amazes me how many people skip by it or fall asleep through it!

It's very watered down history, but for a theme park attraction I think it's really well done, and touching. It always makes me cry!

Besides, it's a nice place to let the kiddos take a 20min nap, while you can enjoy yourself! (or take a nap yourself, if you must!)

We have never done either. Hopefully the kids will be more interested as they get a little older!

Okay I'm trying my best to catch up to you "Chatty Cathy's"!!!
On Friday I left off on page 19 and nap is almost over and I've only gotten to catch up to page 24.

Sharadoc- Your binder is awesome and it cracks me up that you have it as your avatar pic! I started mine this weekend but I'm trying to keep it simple so I don't get too overwhelmed.

Hi everyone! I'm here. I had the worst morning ever today! Got stopped by a train (literally, it stopped) and was 40 minutes late to work. Then, I pull Belle out of the car and she is covered in diarrhea from her neck to the back of her knees. So I stripped her down and hosed her off right in front of the church. (Meanwhile, she is laughing and trying to run off as if this is the most fun game she's ever played.) After that I had to head back home and wash her car seat cover. AHHHH!!!!! I want to pull my hair out!:scared1:

But, I'm here..... hope everyone is having a better day than me.:confused3

I'm so sorry but I laughed so hard when I read this- not at you but at my own memories of those moments! Don't you love being a mom!!!

And I read that there were some Haley Mills fans on here. My mom is a huge one and it's rubbed off on me a little too. Parent Trap was on last night and I watched it. Has anyone ever seen the one she made called Trouble with Angels? That's my mom's favorite.

Wall-E seems to be the most hit or miss movie Pixar has ever made. People love it or hate it, not much in between. (Surprisingly) The film critics made it one of the best reviewed movies of the year.

In our case, we loved it. It probably had one of the most "deep" and "adult" messages of any Disney movie. And our children.... they hear "Waaal-E" or "Eeev-a" and they lose it. How Pixar can make children fall in love with robots is amazing. I guess that little robot is pretty adorable:goodvibes.

Disney makes movies that appeal to everyone on one level or another. I think that’s part of the reason we all love them!:thumbsup2

We still haven't seen it yet but my son loves the songs and trailers on the computer and wants Santa to bring him all sorts of Wall-e stuff- perhaps we'll wait til he sees the movie before "Santa" buys anything Wall-e related.

Here are some pics of me and my family:

This is us 2 weekends ago at the Thomas the train and Sir Topham Hat event at the Strasburg Railroad in Pennsylvania. My son loves trains!

We go to Thomas at Strasburg every year for Father's Day! :woohoo: My son is a huge Thoams fan- we have more take Along Thomas trains and track than I like to admit. :rolleyes1

Kids are still napping so I'll try to catch up on pages 24 to now:scared:

Now, now, Jen...don't be afraid to accept credit when credit is due! :cheer2: btw, the edited version of that first sentence would be...."my now twin from whom i was dasterdly separated at birth" :lmao:  Are you done chapter 3 yet? Enquiring minds NEED TO KNOW! ;)

Of course, and here is my big news of the day, that's if I'm not working at the parks by that time!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've been in touch with the disney casting people and in March I am going to audition for Voices of Liberty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know its really far away but I already doubled my vocal classes so I'm in top shape! Can you imagine, being there 24/7. Some would say you would tire of it, but I think it's just to much fun to ever get sick of disney!
Ofcourse my dream would be to be a princess, but I just don't have a princess waist line! But singing in that beautiful building, IN THE AC, and in their loverly costumes is a really great trade off for me!

That's so exciting! Good luck and keep us posted on this.

P.S. I went to a face character audition once and they told me that my eyes were too small. :sad1: So the waist, I may have.......but Princess eyes, not so much.....

I have to go to back to the "REAL WORLD" now! :sad2: My little napping beauty is waking up and I haven't even cleaned the bathroom yet! :scared1: My girls have swimming lessons after school today so I will try to check in after supper before I go to the GYM! HAve a great afternoon everyone! :goodvibes

We have never done either. Hopefully the kids will be more interested as they get a little older!

For what it's worth, I always found AA much more exciting than HoP! My brother still throws a fit if we want to go into either one (He's 18!). ....Sigh.... I know I'm just a big history dork, but it's just so uplifting! It's a wonderful kind of reality check during your trip! Very inspiring I think!

Holy cow! They wouldn't even know where to begin with me if they didn't like your looks! Not meant in a creepy way, of course.

checking in
128 more days

my only update is i did get a hotel on priceline for our first night before the timeshare starts, at a rate i am very happy with - $31.xx with tax at " Extended Stay America Orlando Convention Center"
we have decided to play everything else by ear popcorn::

so NO ADR's, no tour plans, the only things set in stone are -

we arrive at MCO Feb 5th, depart Feb 12 :surfweb:

we will tour MK on our Anniversary day monday 2/9

other plans that will happen during our trip ~~
Day trip to St Petersburg, Seaworld, and possibly a extra day at MK. Otherwise we will explore Olando, shop at DTD, pretty much enjoy our time :)

i am a little nearvous about this, but DH does not want a schedule, becasue of unforseen things like rain/ worn out from day before/etc. I have to respect his wishes :wizard:

so i will not have updates, at least till i get to double digit dancing ( in 29 days!)
or get my rental car booked ( will start trying end of November, using priceline)

Tina

:lmao: Thanks, Trixie!

They are VERY picky in those auditions and I think it helps to know someone. I get a little upset when I see a Cinderella with "small" eyes.

The face character auditions can be brutal! I went when I was 15 and they told me I had the right look, they just thought I needed to be older. (Well then don't say you audition people 14 & UP!!!! GRRRRRR) Since then I got sick and put on waaaaaay to much weight! As I'm sure we all know, it's way to slow coming off! lol.

I have a friend who was cast on the cruise and has spent the past 4 years cruising the islands & Europe playing every princess but Cindy! She finally left disney for....get this....the ROCKETTES! Some people just have all the luck! They even told her she can work at the world of disney store in NYC doing meet & greets on her days off!

That is so cool! I always wanted to be a princess at Disney when I was a little girl. My mom told me I would always make a good Belle, Jasmine or Megara since they're all so stubborn!

I wish you the best of luck at your audition! I know how audtions, being from the world of dance and all. I've gone on vocal auditions as well, but none as big as Disney!

THANKS!!! :thumbsup2 I just bought a whole bunch of their cd's so I can practice some of their stuff! If I make it all of you snowbirds will just have to come back and see the show again with me in it!!!!!!

And for anyone who hasn't seen Voices of Liberty, GO SEE IT! It is sooooo beautiful, the singing is wonderful and then that room is perfect for their sound, it makes them sound even better!

See you! I expect a backstage tour! After all, we're Snowbird family :rotfl:

Seriously, you've REALLY given us a reason to stay together after January. We MUST know how it goes in March. Here's wishing you all the best of luck. I'm sure you're a wonderful singer and will do very well. You wouldn't have gotten that far if you didn't deserve it. Just relax and you'll do great.

You are so much more pretty then the majority of the cindys I have seen. Can I post the most not so cindy one I have ever seen with out getting in trouble?

:lmao: Thanks, Trixie!

Okay, from what I can tell these people will be at CBR at the same time!

Momof2disneyboys
Maggied
Spokanemom
Chime
Waltdisneywonders

Maybe someone from each resort should make a list! I'm sure the All Stars lists would be pretty long! :goodvibes

Oh yeah - that's sortable from my spreadsheet. I figured when we get closer, I can publish that info, too.
