Thanks for posting these. You know I was thinking that Movies is the only all Disney themed resort on property. Never occurred to me before. I had no idea they had that Toy Story car to pose in - that's just adorable!

We can't wait to see it. We're planning to take a walk over there, tour the resort, check out the pools and playground, and eat at the Food Court.

Well, I love them all, but right now I think it's fun to see the shots that help me visualize that parks...buildings, signs, streets, etc. Things that most people don't take photos of, now that I think about it!

I really need to get off this computer! (One of the hardest things for me to do ).

We've never stayed there, but we visited it in May. It looks like so much fun! And we only saw the Fantasia, Toy Story, and Herbie sections. We never made it over to the Dalmatians and Mighty Ducks sections. It was so hot that day we just couldn't walk any further! The food court is big and appeared to have many great choices!

Am I going to be asking too much of my family to take some time to just look around the resorts? There are so many I'd like to see, and so many great photo ops. Methinks some rescheduling may be in my future!

We have done this on the last 2 trips and we really enjoy it! It's some nice "down time". And the kids enjoy going into all the resort gift shops! So far we've visited (but not stayed at) - All Star Movies, Contemporary, Poly, Grand Floridian, Beach Club, & Yacht Club. . . . I think that's it. Hopefully we will be checking out more in January!

There was a message from WL planning office when I got home this afternoon. They wanted to help us book our dining reservations and any extra activities for us I called back and told them the story of the room only ressie being switched to a pkg. and that the adr's they had booked for us in July hadn't been transferred to the new ressie # and I told her that I called last week about this same thing and it was supposed to have been fixed then So who knows, maybe I'll get there in January and they won't be expecting us Maybe I should call a couple of days before our arrival and confirm everything with them, especially b/c of the mix up on requests and adr's.....what do you all think I should do?

The CM did say...."Sometimes disney goes about things the really long way but we always get it done for our guests." I thought that was pretty cool Although I'm not sure every guest would agree with that from what I've read here on the Dis

We called Disney on the weekend and changed our room reservation to a package! Yay!

It actually took a very long time! We spoke to the reservation people, and they gave us a new confirmation number. So then they transferred us to the dining people, and we had to confirm every single dining reservation, and they had to change our confirmation number every time! Yowza!

It scared me a bit at the start, because the dining CM said, "Okay, so you want to cancel all of these reservations?" to which I replied, "NO!!! We want to keep them! All of them!!! Auuuugghhhhhh!"

Okay, so I didn't really scream. Internally I did though. Hehee.

Oh, no! I'm confused again! Do I need to change my ADR's now that I have a package and not just a room reservation?

Yikes ! I was worried about this as well. I have been kept busy with work and summer vacation, and now I have found time to try and catch up!
