I just took a closer look at the ADR list and I found 2 matches!!

Miss Magnolia at Tutto Italia on 1/10
Peach3es at Prime Time on 1/12

COOL! Maybe we will run into each other. I'll have my LGMH on my baggallini, look for me!:)

AND...coffeehousemom, we are both staying at ASMo at the same time!:)

Mom2DisneyBoys: holy cow, that is one MASSIVE undertaking you have there for keeping track of all of us!!!

Happy Thursday,all! :)

Ethansmommy, I've never stayed there but Shelly raves about it!! CBR is where we would love to try to upgrade if by some miracle we get a huge discount with a PIN or something.....

I am so jealous.....you'll be there way earlier than the rest of us!! Have fun!!!

Edited to add.....duh, I just saw that it's nov 2009..my bad!!

Morning, snowbirds! I need to call today to place that deposit on our package, now that they only give you 7 instead of 14 days to do that. Of course I'm sure it will be a while before I see the credit on my billing statement from the deposit I had on my room-only! I wish they could just transfer the money- wouldn't that be easier on everyone? Oh well.

I also have to call soon to book DH's Segway tour. I feel bad that he has to do this alone, but I will have our three mouseketeers, so I can't go with him. He's always wanted to try it, so I think he will enjoy it, even if he's alone.

What is everyone else planning today?

My Disney Plan for today is to check out the whole GardenGrocer thing.....we think that is a fabulous idea! I also need to get signed up for a refrigerator swap!

Good Morning All....

Just wanted to let you know I used Garden Grocer last December and it was fabulous. All our stuff was waiting for us when we checked in ...they kepted all refrigerated stuff in a refrigerator....they brought it up to us in less than 5 minutes....it was really great. I ordered cases of water, snacks, my sons diapers, he drinks rice milk, that...etc. Anyhows...I highly recommend them....my only recommendation order from the as soon as you can....because dates do go fast. Don't wait til the week before.

Any other questions about it feel free to ask....happy planning.....

Alright, here is our ADR list. Yes I know we have an insane amount of TS and if it were only up to me, I would throw a few CS in there. However my MIL goes with us and she thinks you spend as much time waiting in line and looking for a table as you do sitting down somewhere to eat. I do think that dining is part of the experience and not just something you do because you need to eat. We are on the deluxe plan, obviously. Here goes:

Jan 10th-
Dinner-Ohanas-5:30pm

Jan 11th-
Breakfast at 1900 Park Fare 8am
Lunch at Crystal Palace 12:05pm
Dinner at Whispering Canyon 5:30pm

Jan 12th-
breakfast- Ohanas 7:30
lunch at the castle 12:25
dinner Fantasmic package at Mama Melroses 4:25

Jan 13th-
breakfast at Tusker House 8:00
dinner at Yak and Yeti 4:30

Jan 14th-
breakfast at Akerhus 9:00
lunch at Coral Reef 12:30
dinner at Garden Grill at 6:15

Jan 15th-

lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern 12:45
dinner is HDDR 5:00

Jan 16th-

Holy moses! Writing it out makes me realize how much food I am going to consume in one week!!! Oh well we won't be getting back down to disney for at least another three years and i am afraid my oldest will have outgrown the princesses by then!! I am going to post some more pictures too!

2disneygirls we really have to do some kind of meet for sure!! Even if the family changes their minds & decide ti do ASMu instead (MIL wants that) we can at least do a meet at the pool.:cool1: Our kids are about the same ages DD will be 10 & DS 6. Are you going to decorate your window? I haven't said anything to the family yet but I plan on at least putting a few lime green mickey heads up.:thumbsup2

We had the same experience. They were great. We will definitely be using them again this time (if I get my way and we end up flying, that is!).

Good morning all!!!:goodvibes
I wanted to let you all know that we just used WEGOSHOP on our trip and Marge was great also. I put my order in about 3 weeks before we left and she even shopped for sales for us. They were wonderful and will definitely be using on Jan trip

For Deluxe Dining- it was a great experience!!!:goodvibes , but be prepared to gain 5-10lbs. The amount of food you eat in one day is insane!!!:lmao: We ate at many places we would have never tried before. When you are on that plan, they basically will bring you whatever you want. We kind of figured it out, the more they bring, they more the tab goes up and the bigger the tip:thumbsup2 We barely ever ate nearly it all, but it was nice not having to worrry about what you could order. We got our moneys worth for sure. The last day , we had 2 grocery sacks of snacks to bring home with us because there is no way you can eat those with all the other food.
On our waterpark days, we did counterservices there and our tab was well over $50 and every meal we did at night was close to $200. We always seemed to tip the 20% also. They put the tip on your bill showing 18% and the 20%, and you have to fill out what you want to give before they ring your dining plan through. 90% of our servers deserved it, they were so accomodating to the kids needs and wants!!!:yay:
My DH weighed himself on Day 7 and he had gained 12 lbs, my son gained 10, I gained close to 10 and have lost 4 since I have been home. My body thinks it is starving now trying to eat normal My youngest who is 4 and our skinny one gained 4lbs:rolleyes:
This next trip we are going to do the regular DDP, since we will be at the parks more and will need that time to ride, but for anyone that is ok with spending a lot of time in travel/restraunts it is totally worth it. We would have never ate at half of those places.:goodvibes

A few questions if you don't mind,

1. Our travel agent emailed our package deal for our trip and it states the basic dining plan. That is the one that includes 1 Counter Service Meal, 1 Table Service Meal, and 1 snack for each night of stay, correct? My brain is fried from a stressful day at work and when I go to book tomorrow I want to make certain that is the correct dining plan I am signing for.

2. To those that have used the dining plan in the past, do you feel it is worth the convenience to prepay most dining expenses before you go and just present your card for payment when dining at the table service and counter service meals. We have never done the dining plan before and wondered about the ease of use and convenience of it.

Thank you so much in advance. I also like Shelly's way of thinking by weeks, it sounds so much closer that way, a much smaller number to count down.

I also booked breakfast at Tusker and supper at Le Cellier on the 25th of January and when I called this morning it seemed I had the pick of any time available, there were many spots open.

#1 - Basic DDP is 1TS, 1CS, and 1Snack per person per night of your package!

#2 - Yes, I feel the DDP is very convenient! No need to carry around cash and credit cards. Very easy to just pay with your room key.

Glad you were able to get Tusker House and LeCellier with no problems! Hopefully I can get LeCellier for the 26th whenever we are able to make ADR's for that day! :goodvibes

Shelly:) I love your new nick name :rotfl2: My kids just did the pirate cruise at Y&B Club. It was at 930 and already blazing HOT!! It was a surprise for my DD's 8th B-day. It was cute, but I think they were so hot in the lifejackets they did not enjoy it as much as I thought. My son said it was more for the younger ones, but he is more of a sports/video game guy. I got some good pictures of them. I thought it was very reasonable in price.

HAHA I love my new nickname too!! :lmao:

I'm hoping it's not too cold for the CBR Pirate Cruise at 9:30am in January! :rotfl:

Hi Sharadoc, I just read this post and I know I am late. I just wanted to let you know that the FW cabins are great and so spacious. They just showed them today on the travel channel, which I am sure will be shown again. It really is a great location, so peaceful, yet just a boatride away from the MK or the monorail, very wonderful way to start your day. We rented a golf cat and loved that convience. We got very lazy!!!:lmao: Also, any of the DVC properties would be great, there are so many activities at all of them. You enjoy everything that guests in the hotel rooms have. Just wanted to let you know:goodvibes :goodvibes

Thanks!! We actually WERE originally in a FW cabin, but we decided against it because of a couple of things - 1) the need to rent a golf cart adding another $50 a day to our trip (I have arthritis, so we would absolutely NEED the cart), 2) the spread out nature of the Fort.

We looked at this against the ASMu resort with 1) $100 per day less in a family suite, 2) activities at the pool and nightly movies, 3) a food court.

We actually think ASMu will be great for us - it's not just the price. My daughter is constantly wanting to do something, so being able to stop at the pool or arcade without driving to it will be better for us!!

I only had a concern about the Brazilian tour groups monopolizing the resort. I've calmed down from that (I hope).

Thanks a lot for the info. I really do think we'd like to do the cabins one day, when I know how crazed or calm my kids prefer to be when we go to WDW!
