Can you please add me to the Snowbirds list? We are going to be at the World from January 3rd through January 15th. We will probably be staying at POP.
Wohoo, it is our first visit and I am so excited .

I am so happy that the hours are eventually available. Now I am waiting with you for the rates, 'cause we will book the rooms when the AAA rates are out.

You mentioned this was your first trip, so in case you didn't know.....
You don't have to wait for AAA rates to come out before you book your room. We booked our room about two weeks ago w/AAA. What they do is reserve your room for the dates you need and then they charge you a one night's deposit at peak season prices for 2008. After the 2009 prices come out, they will recalculate w/the AAA discount and subtract the one night deposit you pay from the 2009 discount price. You do have to wait for the 2009 prices before you can make it a package w/tickets and/or the ddp, that's what we are waiting for But we did already book our room and all of our adr's even though no AAA price is out.

I never got a chance to post, but my grandfather did pass away last Friday , so we had to go to TN for 5 days and just got home last night.

Good morning Snowbirds!!! I have a crazy busy day but wanted to post before I left for DW I will miss a lot I am sure during 9 days gone, and I am not sure if we will have internet or not.

Splashmtn- So sorry to hear about your grandfather.

I did not get to answer question fo the day yesterday, but I would have to say our fav rest would be Beaches and Cream only because that was a must on our last 2 trips. The onion rings are out of this world, along with the No Way Jose sundae. We won't be making it on this summer trip, but hopfully in winter We also love CP and Chef .

I did get to make my final ressies yesterday (at least for now) for Yak and Yetti (which our party had to be split again into 3 & 4) and for LLT at MK with only 1 time slot available. I also decided to book the Afternoon Tea At GF for the girls only. That looks really nice and fun.

Wish me lots of on our trip tomorrow!!! We may have to get moved from the FW cabins. Long story, but when I called yesterday to check to see where we would be located and put in a request, they let me know that. They did say it would be an upgrade, but nothing can be done until we check in. So, after all the planning from transportation to dining, I may not even know anything. Go figure!!! As long as they move us right away before we get settled, I do not mind, so I hope all goes well.

So, everyone take care and keep planning away. If we get upgraded to a DVC resort , I will be able to check in because we will have internet. Have a magical day

We are going to WDW in Jan too.
We will be staying off property at our timeshare but that's ok.
We'll be there from Jan 16th to the 23rd!
I just finished making my ADR's today...only did 2
first one is for dinner at Chef Mickey's the night we are doing MK
second one for breakfast at Donald's Safari the day at AK

Got pretty much exactly what we wanted too!
I haven't caught up on the posts yet here, I'm only on page 5 but I hope I can join you all. I'm getting so excited.
~~Last time we were at WDW was actually last month when we did MK one day and DTD...we did a last min. trip to our timeshare for 3 nights and headed to GA for a baptism. First time with the kids and they LOVED it...~~

I can't believe how much I've missed! 15 pages since the last time I was able to check this thread and I've only read 8 of them and stopped when I read that the hours and prices were out

I never got a chance to post, but my grandfather did pass away last Friday , so we had to go to TN for 5 days and just got home last night. I've got so much to catch up on here Talk about being a day late and a dollar short! I must admit this though, while on our way home yesterday, I started wondering if the hours for Jan and all that other info would be out I'm guilty!

Yeah, that's what I'm doing with mine too...only I thought I'd wrap each thing up seperately, and see how long it takes them to notice that all their gifts are Disney-related....and if they STILL don't figure it out.....while I was at HD getting my LGMHs, I got some pink & purple ones too (their fave colors). I thought I'd string them all together for a countdown......THAT ought to spell it out for them.[/
