My grandfather was taken off of life support late this morning and is breathing on his own, however the dr's say that b/c the brain damage is so extensive that they don't believe he will ever come out of the coma and will remain in that state permanently He's not expected to make it through the night. I know that anything is possible and miracles happen, so now we are just waiting. Not sure if I mentioned this or not, but they believe he had been deceased for about 15 mins before he was found in his car and the paramedics came, and they revived him en route to the hospital.

My dh and I always go the last week of Jan into the first week of Feb. We love it. I can't wait until the 2009 package prices come out. I am already to start the planning. LOL

Please let me in!! We are going Jan 10th thru the 19th and staying at POFQ!!! We are Detroiters so january is a perfect time to get away from the snow. I have read the first 16 pages of this thread, plan on reading the rest tonight. This will be our second trip and I am so excited. We made our ADRs on Monday. Here is the run down

Sat- dinner at ohanas
Sun- bfkst 1900 park fare

Tue- dinner at the yak and yeti

We do the deluxe. My MIL and BIL go with us and she hates CS. We believe dining is part of the experience. And going 9 days in january we have plenty of time to do everything in the parks. We did not do Soarin last time so that is a definite. And I have to track down Pocahontas. The plane hadn't even left the ground when DD, then 2, informed me we have to go back and see pocahontas. Now 4, she is on a mission to get her autograph. I look forward to "talking" with all of you guys as we count down our days!!! Come on 2009!!

I just asked the kids where they would like to stay on our next trip to WDW in a few years from now laughing: ). And they both said they want to go back to our first hotel (CBR)! So I guess it is meant to be!

4. Early 8 am ressies at Crystal Palace in Jan are the best! Empty parks, clean and fresh and cool - It felt like a dream to walk down mainstreet with only the few of us that had ressies! And the food there was incredible, as were the characters and atmosphere of CP.

We're doing Crystal Palace for breakfast on our last day. I'm glad to hear that it's such a great experience. We have a 9:30 ADR which is late but I figure it's our last day so we'll have to get the car packed up and so forth. Hopefully we can spend a few hours in MK before DH drives us to the airport.

Hi! Just joined and we are going to WDW Jan 21-28. Weeeeee! So excited. Staying at the POFQ, our first trip to WDW, did DL two years ago.

Momof2DisneyBoys - we booked our room only ressie about 3 months ago at ASMo. This is where we stayed in jan 2007 and pool hopped because the Fantasia pool was in refurb. We had a Mighty Ducks room whishc was great. Admitted we were all disappointed when we checked in " Mighty Ducks??!!!" But it was ideal for travel between Music and Movies.

This trip we booked a preferred room in order to have something different. We looked into POR and CBR, as well as POP. we love the complete and total Disney theme the Movies resort offers us.

We only sleep and shower in the room, so to upgrade would make no sense for us and the money we save we have for spending or to add the deluxe meal plan.

Did you look into the family suites at Music, they look great !


Now to play the game... TOO many favorites!

My DH and I LUV CBR and we've tried a couple others. But so far it's the best! You can't beat the price, location and theme! My DH wants to stay at WL or AKL and I told him I'll do AKL, but I really want Poly so we hopefully will do a split stay. I just wish the weather would be a bit warmer to stay out on the beach at night in January. Here's to hoping! I wish we could visit multiple times a year but he really wants to go other places, just not enough time and money.

We have our ADRs all set. We got everything we wanted. We might add a dinner at Garden Grill, simply because we've never been there before and it might be fun to try something new. Thoughts?

DHS- Little Mermaid (my dd's reaction of pure amazement just made it so great!), DH says Rockin Roller (but I haven't been able to try it yet, bc I was pg last time)

Waaah! Rates won't come out until September now!?! I hope that's not true!! Craziness!

Our trip isn't just a Disney trip... We're in Australia, so we're also travelling to New York, Miami and Key West before we head to Disney. I've gotta say, the Disney component of our trip is definitely the most difficult to book for!

The other hotels we're staying at in the other 3 places gave us their rates via email in February. We booked and paid deposits in February!!! It's kinda crazy to think that Disney can't get their rates together until September.

Anywho. Not much we can do about it!!

Currently booked at the Cabins. Get to make my ADR next week. I have called a few times with questions about the ADR changes and I get a different answer every time!. Guess I don't know until exactly 180 out.
I am a planner darn it and they are making this very difficult for me.
