Just wanted to let the january 2008 board know again that DF and I along with another DISer are planning a fireworks cruise sometime between the 7th-12th of january. It looks like POP is probably the most popular on that list. Not too many POR with us though.

Bob Jackson is the best entertainer in The World!!!! He performs a one-man-family-friendly show in the lounge of POR. If I tried to describe the show, it would sound cheesy and not do him justice. So, all I can say is this: if you've never heard a room full of sober adults singing "sponge bob square pants" at the top of their lungs, it's well worth it. My friends and I stopped in to see what the ruccus was - and we got sucked in. His show is now a must see for DH and I. In fact, he's the primary reason why we chose to stay at POR this trip.

Howdy all! I've been pretty busy the past few weeks and came back to play 'catch-up' Happy wishes to all who are going in January!!!!! I've done some replies (mostly to people staying during the same time as me and my fam), but send Disney magic to one and all!

We will be there 1/7 - 1/16!
It will be me, my DH, my DS (his 1st trip! He'll be 16 months), my parents and my sister. We're staying at Shades of Green - I can't wait!!! I LOVE Disney in January!

Jan 8th to 17th, my DW and sister are running in their first marathon!!

We're booked from January 8-16 at ASMU. We reserved 2 family suites!! Stayed there in Nov. of 06 and can't wait to get back HOME!!!:

My family and I will be there January 10-15, 2008. I am running the 5K at Animal Kingdom. Last year I ran the Half Marathon, but didn't enjoy it as much because a majority of the race was on the highway. In 2006, I ran the 5K that went through EPCOT.

We are staying at the Beach Club Villas, as we are DVC members.

I have booked a Specialty Wishes Cruise for our family of 4 on 1/11/08. It holds up to 10 people, so I am looking for up to 6 people to help defray the costs ($275). We are going to the Spirit of Aloha first, so the boat departs from the Poly Marina, and of course children are welcome. My daughter is 7, My son, 6.

Howdy howdy! Best of luck in the marathon, I've looked at the course and you should see some wonderful sites along your run (if you're not just focusing on the pavement in front of your feet - lol). I wish we could go with you on the cruise, but we're just doing the parks this time around and already have our ADRs set I'm sure you'll all have a blast!

we booked jan 10-13th at pop, but we have to see about our free plane tickets yet (they've been having issues with the company who is handling the tickets) if we're really going or not. if they don't go through, i might just suck it up and buy plane tickets anyway. i want a vacation. haha.

Myself and three friends just booked our trip for Jan 9-13th!! (Wish it could be longer, but that's all we could get out of work for, right after the holidays and all!)

We'll be staying at the Carribean Beach Resort and visiting MK, Epcot, Animal Kingdom and MGM. I can't wait!! I've been to WDW plenty of times before, but we do have one member of our party who has never been...that's one of the most exciting parts, traveling with someone seeing DW for the first time!!

We'll give you a wave if we see you, depending if we're in the same parks on the same days. Myself and my DDs have never been so we're pretty jazzed about the trip :-]

My husband seems to think that our first trip was our best trip, When our eyes were open for the first time and we were standing in the middle of MK... Breath taking....

I am SO excited to say we will!!!

DH has a conference down in Orlando at the end of January and of course, DS and I are going with. His work is renting our own points from us for us to cover accomodations and our AP's don't expire until May. The best part? I have more vaca than DH so DS and I are adding on a few DS and Mommy days either at the end or the beginning.

We're staying at SSR, but DS and I may waitlist our nights without DH at VWL or BCV, as they are smaller and easier to get around for us.

This will help so much with the Post Disney Depression I'm hoping to avoid when we get back from our trip that starts tomorrow...!!

ETA: I forgot to add the dates! Currently we're looking at Jan 29-Feb 8 (still counts for January!) and the special events? We're going to a P&P party with DH and some friends and then another night I'm taking my little pirate for a date night of just the two of us. He'll wear his pirate bandana and I might even wear a tiara

And the best BEST part? DS has NO CLUE we're going to WDW again so soon!!!! We're doing a big family gathering in July so whenever we talk about the plans, we say "January-July" and so far he has no clue. Can't WAIT to see his face!!
