Okay Gang - Just got off the phone with my trusty TA Here's the breakdown of what we got for our AKL trip 1/6 - 1/13:

ORIGINAL PRICING:

2 Adult 1 Child (DD13)
MYW Pkg with NO DINING
AKL Savannah Room
Park Hopper Passes for 7 days (for all 3 of us)
Total $2840.19


DISNEY VISA CODE # ZCJ

2 Adult 1 Child (DD13)
MYW pkg with NO DINING
AKL Savannah Room
Park Hopper Passes for 7 days (x3)
Water Parks and More for 7 days (x3)
Total $2563.12

I saved a total of $277.07

Tidbits : When my TA called WDTC they played it off like there was no code available but then my TA insisted there was one - the CM put her on hold and then came back on and said "There's a Disney Visa Code available." My TA said - I know that's the one I told you about 3 times already (sing along go TA go TA go go ) so yes the code is a Disney Visa code and it IS available with a little persistance. I'll be getting the fax copy in a little while with all the changes so if I have any more info - I'll update.

When I just got the fax, it has NON REFUNDABLE INSURANCE as a line item, but no cost listed. We do not want insurance and I'm trying to get in touch w/my agent (again) to have it removed.

How much is insurance, usually? Hoping I can subtract some from the $2503.

BTW-Agent said AAA is matching the Disney Visa Code rate--in case you are an AAA member but not a Dis Visa holder.

Even though we aren't going in Jan - you guys are the ones who let me find out about the code. We ended up saving $270 on 5 nights at POP with dining in early March. There definitely is some other discount component than just the ticket upgrade since its still $50-100 cheaper than booking online with just base tickets and dining.

I called a few minutes ago and the CM told me it was a package only code.. no room only discounts. If anyone hears different, please let us know.

Does anyone have any more information about what might be going on Jan 25-31? Still think it might be crowded?

Is there a discount on the room too thouhg? And do you have to go a certain amount of days or stay anywhere in particular? We will only go for 3 or 4 nights whe nwe go and I would like to stay at the ASMusic. Of course by the time we book it, the offerwill proabably be no good anymore

I got the Visa code for POFQ 1/20 - 1/27.

Original price (with dining, without hoppers or extra) for 2 adults and 2 kids $2765.

Now (with dining, with hoppers and extras) 2399. So looks to be about 15% off of package rate.

Thats the same rate we have with our AAA discount for Pop for pretty much the same dates.

A "pin code" is a "personal identification code" that is attached to one person, it is *not* available to anybody else. The rate might be awarded to others, but they will have their own individual code. No one knows the how/why/when these fabled codes are awarded, but they arrive in some previous Guests e-mail inboxes or on postcards in their snail mailboxes.

I have no idea. I was just told that my AAA rate was $64,00 a night 6 nights totaled 883.xx for 6 nights 2 rooms.

My TA looked into it for me. There just aren't any rooms with double beds for those dates released for that code.

Maybe dates near mine or king bed are available but we need those dates and double beds. Good luck to you!
