January 2006 - Need help ...

Hi,

I'm counting the days to my trip next January!
My last trip (18 days in January 2004 - me, DH, DS11, DD8) was fantastic and I have to thank people here for a lot of information that I got.

Again, I need some help from you guys :

I'll be arriving on Jan 3rd and leaving January 24th.
I'll be off-site and I'm getting a Disney 7 Day Pass and an Orlando Flex Ticket 5 Park.
So, I'm going to MK, MGM, Epcot, AK, SW, BG, USF and IOA. No water parks.

1) What are the EMH scheduled to January 2006 ?
2) What atractions will be closed on January 2006 ?
3) Is there any holiday or special event taking place on Orlando that could make the parks more crowded ?
4) From January 2004 to January 2006, what are the new attractions on the parks ; what has changed ? I only know about Epcot - Soarin; MK- Lilo & Stitch ; USF - The Revenge of the Mummy.

We're also going in Jan. '06. I don't believe the EMH schedule is out yet. I think that is part of the regular schedule and since October was just released, I think we have to wait a little while before we see January.

i think most things will come out much later. no doubt the marathon will de during you stay and MLK day also, don't know the exact dates though for either

for some reason can't edit the above but MLK day is the 16 th in Janof 06 Marathon probably is on disney official site or will be soon

The marathon is the weekend of Jan. 7-9. MLK day is the 16th. So both occur during your visit. I have heard that marathon weekend will have more impact on the resorts than on the parks.

Since you are staying offsite you don't really have to be concerned about EMH since you wont be able to get in. The only concern you may have is that which ever park does have EMH will be more crowded. They have opened a lot of new things: Soarin, Mickey's Philarmagic, the stunt show at MGM, Cinderellabration, Stich's great escape, and many more. They really have not listed closed attractions yet, but they will just keep checking back. We'll see you there we're going from Jan. 18th - 28th. Maine

About the EMH, I'd like to avoid going the EMH days, because of the crowds.
