I have been super busy and not very active on here, but I have been following this thread and the FE thread. I finally got a picture of my family uploaded. We're all dressed up for my daughter's Fancy Nancy birthday party - so no, normally my husband is not wearing a plastic top hat nor do I wear flowers in my hair like that on a normal day.

We don't have any children with us, but look forward to meeting everyone. We are doing our first B2B and I can't wait. Just paid off the first week, now have to get working on this one. Have never done 2 weeks before but feel this is a great way to celebrate our 55th anniversary.

Usually there is a meet up for the DISers on the day we embark. It's unofficial, just organised by the cruisers on these boards so that everyone has a chance to finally meet each other in person. It's nice to recognise people as you walk around the ship for the rest if the cruise! It won't go for long, there's no obligation to come or stay, but I'd definitely recommend popping in to say hi! I took a group photo of all of us on our last trip, and put it up on Facebook for everyone after the trip, it was a great souvenir. I will try to organise the same for our group in January.

It's also a time for us to make any last minute adjustments to the Fish Extender list if there are any room upgrades or re-locations. (If you can't make it though, no need to worry, Meg and I will keep an up-to-date list by our stateroom door.)

Yes coming from Western Australia the cruise is a present for my sons 10th birthday on 21 Jan Would be great to catch up with some friendly faces. Very excited.

Natandscott, Thanks for the congrats on our anniversary. Congrats to you two also. You can't get to 55 without getting to 5 also. We really don't know if there is a secret to it, but to quote my husband "marriage isn't 50/50, it is 100/100. If you only put 50% in, you will only get back 50%. Just love, trust and support each other and you will be just fine.

Hi Everyone...just found this thread. I just paid in full for our first every Disney Cruise and first cruise for our two kiddos (5.5 and 2). I am Tara and my hubby is Nick (both 33). I'm now a SAHM after several years of practicing law and hubs is a super busy doctor. We can't wait to surprise our kids with the trip...part of their Christmas gift.

We are super excited to spend some quality time together as a family on the Fantasy. I need to do some planning for what to do with my two crazy littles at each port. Gonna go back and try to catch up on some reading in this thread too.

It is so exciting that this is your first cruise! There are many repeat cruisers on this page so feel free to ask any questions and we will do our best to answer them!

We are organizing a meet up and a fish extender exchange (gift exchange like secret santa) for the cruise so be sure to check the first post for details on these!

Finally paid off the cruise today, now we are so ready to go!!!!!!!!! Sure want time to hurry by!!! Getting all my magnets made too. This has forced me to try and get my Christmas shopping done, so I can concentrate on the cruise. I am about 80% finished my Christmas Shopping. That is the best I have ever been at this point.

Can't wait for when we can check-in online. We can do our Eastern Cruise on the 28th, so not to far to go. Than on the 5th, we can do the Western.

I know a few people have already expressed their interest in the meet up so I am going to start an official list to keep on top of names and numbers. Please could you comment if you're interested in going to the meet up and let me know how many in your party will be attending. I will update the "Who's cruising with us" post so we can keep track of how big the meet up group is getting.
The meet up will be a great experience, finally meeting everyone on the thread. It will also be where we add final room changes to the FE list for people who upgrade at the port etc (although if you cant make it to the meet up, Rhiannon and I will keep an up to date FE list on our door throughout the cruise)

This is all getting very exciting!
I love the pictures, keep them coming. It will make it much easier to spot the DISers once we get onboard
