Awesome! Another dis'er on the cruise!

Lol, I've been doing the same thing. I've got a collection going on my computer and my son can't wait to start making magnets! I'd also love to get a fish extender exchange going, if we get enough dis'ers on the cruise. I subscribed to the FE thread for ideas, but I'm not very handy so I'll probably end up ordering one from ebay--if we can get enough interested.

Hey, I just looked at your siggy....so your doing the 1/17 and the 2/17 in 2010? or is that a typo? If not I am soooooooo jealous. I am hoping to rebook for a 7 day in 2011 when we are onboard. But, keep it a secret from the kids because they are driving me crazy asking about the 2010 cruise.

Lol! I wish I were cruising twice. Just a typo and I'm glad you caught it! I thought adding that to my siggy would drum up more business .

I'm hoping the same thing, btw. I hope Dh loves cruising so much that we rebook...but it's really up to the boy as it will be his turn to pick our 2011 vacation, within reason. He keeps saying he wants to go to Canada or Alaska but we are limited to travel between December and March. I don't think I want to visit Canada or Alaska during those times. Plus, the one rule I have is that there need to be palm trees involved!

Hi all! I can't wait until our cruise! We're finally getting some good weather here in MI and when it gets cold and rainy again, I think longingly of our cruise!

Passing the time. I've been figuring out ways to pay for this trip without having to take the money out of savings! (We're doing a week at WDW and the three day cruise before this one! It's not cheap!!) It's been fun! We called all our companies - cell phone, cable, etc - and asked how we could reduce our bill. The total savings came to over $100/month! So, we're putting that extra money in a separate savings account each month. We save all our change in a big jar - I hope it'll be enough for parking! We have a Disney CC and another CC we use that gives us cash back. That should equal about $1000 by the time our final payment is due. I've been couponing like crazy. What have you all been doing?

It's been SO hard to keep it a secret!! Dh and I will say something about our vacation next year and we have to catch ourselves. The kids know we're going to WDW, just not about the cruise.

What activities are all your kids in? Mine play baseball, take karate (two are black belts!), row crew, play soccer, swim team, play basketball, fencing and rocketry. I think that's it. Of course, those are split among the three boys! The little girl isn't in anything yet.

I'll be sure to check here more often and take better part in the discussion now that I feel like the time is getting closer. Still too far away, but closer than last month!!!

We are joining you! It will be me ,hubby, and our 7 yr old twin girls. We took the 4 nighter last Jan...love the weather and the fact that there was not as many people.

We werent planning on going on another disney cruise so fast....but we (meaning just husband and myself) are leaving the twins behind and going on RCCL Freedom of the Seas for a week in July, so in order to make it up to them for leaving them behind with the grandparents, we have booked this lol

I hope they change up some of the shows and kids club programs so it wont be the same cruise again....otherwise, the kids might not want to stay in the kids clubs so much to give mom and dad a much needed break

I forgot to mention...please please please...lets do fish extenders for our group! We did it the last Disney cruise and it was such a HIT with the kids. We had our twins believe that Tinker Bell visted the room every day and left goodies

YES!!!! I really want to do the FE gifts as well. My kids loved coming back to the room and seeing the wonderful things that were left. We'll participate!! Right now I don't have time to take charge! But, as we get closer to the actual date and more people are here, I bet we'll get more people!

I really hope that they change up some of the activities in the kids club for this cruise...I am worried that it will be all the same stuff the kids did last year....

Hello everyone. Looks like we'll be cruising with you on the Wonder. This will be our first cruise ever and a suprise for the kiddos. Hubby's bday is the 16th...so i guess its his bday present too.

I would love to be part of the FE exchange. I have even started getting ideas.

I was just on the general boards and was looking at how serious some of these roll calls are...it looks like some folks create their own webpage for their roll call and they list a spreadsheet of the members, the days of who is responsible for the FE, all the meetup dates and activies and photos of the roll call members...WOW! I wouldnt even know how to begin to do something that cool

I just booked the cruise this weekend, and can't wait to go! This will be our 3rd Disney Cruise.

My dd's 3rd birthday will be while we're on the cruise.

I am also an obsessive planner, so I'd love to do the FE gifts!

Hi all -- Just wanted to jump on and say hi. We are booked on the 1/17/10 cruise too.

However, I am unemployed and have been looking for a job since the middle of January. I need to have an actual job for us to be able to cruise.

Anyway, we are moving forward with our plans. It will be me and DH (retired) in one cabin. In the second cabin, will be my DD and my 2 granddaughters who will be 9 and 11 when we sail.

I'm still here! I'm sure I'll see you in the kids club, so we'll have to meet up. I have two DDs. One will be 10 - she's been on two Disney Cruises before, and didn't love the kids clubs (but she promises me that she will this time - as the "older" kids have more fun stuff to do). My other is going to turn 3 while we're on the cruise. I'm planning for her to be able to go in the kids club, as she has been potty trained since the month she turned 2.

I've been planning like crazy already. I have already gotten some stuff to send to the ship (monogrammed beach bags and stuff to go in them).

Five months will go by quickly, due to all of the holidays! I can't wait!

I've actually had this cruise booked for quite awhile, but didn't know if we were going to keep it or change to a 7 day or warmer time. Since the great prices just came out we decided not only to keep this cruise, but book a back to back 3 day cruise with it.

We are going to tell the kids at Christmas! In fact I have a friend picking up some DCL cookies on her October cruise to help with the surprise! We are not telling the kids about the 3 day cruise, but will just say to them, "You're out of school this whole week! Let's just get right back on!"

This will be DH and my 4th and 5th cruise and the kids 3rd and 4th.

We were on the Wonder (just DH and I) in October 2007. We all went on a Magical Double Dip September 2008 and a 3 day on the Wonder May 2009. It's an addiction!

We participated in the FE exchange on the 7 day Double Dip and the 3 day in May and had a great time.

We are planning to drive to FL and stay at the Radisson at the Port. We like the hotel and leaving the car at the hotel is great too!

Thanks for letting me ramble! I'm excited to be part of another DCL DIS group!

We are so thrilled about the kids sailing free promotion! It saved us over $700 !

That is a great idea about doing a back to back! I would love it if we could just do a double dip to Castaway Cay. I think that is one of my all time favorite port out of all the cruises I have ever taken.

Hi - I'm one of Mintee's recruitees to the cruise. I have reserved our trip and we have a few days to decide before the deposit it due. It sounds like so much fun and the FE sounds very cool. We have 2 boys - in January they will be 7 and 4 1/2. They love DisneyWorld and I think they will love this cruise. DH and I went on a RC cruise 11 years ago (or so). Had a blast!
