This cruise has really booked up, I am guessing at least partly because of the Florida rates! A month ago there were over 150 cabins open. Now many catagories are GTY and the ones that do show cabins are very few! Upgrading at port doesn't look good.

I was just thinking about the same thing...was just on DCL site not long ago, there is NO cabin available that fits 4 people anymore. Not even ONE....

It isn't that the cabins themselves don't fit four, there are still Cat 4s left! I think it must be that they don't have the capacity on the SHIP for many more people!! :scared1:

When I typed in for 4 people, I got NOTHING for Jan 14th. Only cat.4 for Jan 28th!

Hi there all. This is the first time that I have posted on this board, but I am sure glad that I finally get to. I have been reading it for a while, but decided it is time that I join in on the fun. I too will be joining all of you on the cruise on the 14th. Me and my fiancee' will be taking our second DCL cruise and I am sooo excited the first one was this past April on the Wonder and we loved it so much we thought hey let's cash in some DVC points and head out on a longer journey. I hope that I will get to meet some of you on the ship and I am so ready to get on that boat.... They tried to deliver our documents last week, but we were at work. I only hope when UPS starts delivering again tomorrow that we will finally get our documents. We booked back in May so it seems like we have been waiting forever... Yeah it is almost here... :cool1:

Looks like you have a lot of cruising to come!! And a Disney wedding! There will be a DIS wedding on this cruise (bookworm)!!

It is so close, I can't wait!! I am looking forward to meeting some DISers this cruise!

Friends of mine that are also taking this cruise will also be on the members cruise in 2006. We'll have to meet up.

Speaking of meeting up... any ideas?
Maybe a meet after the sail away party or is that too hectic for everyone?
Or an afternoon meet during the first day at sea? Maybe at the Cove?

I have never done a meet so I have no idea how they work. I am fairly open to any time. I did order customized t-shirts from Disney shopping, but I don't know if they will be here in time. They never even shipped my Christmas order yet!!! I have to call them tomarrow to *#&^$ at them!!

Usually we would just agree on a time & place to meet up. You might all have a ribbon or something so that you can distinquish us DIS people.
Sometimes it's nice to do it right at the beginning of the cruise and then you may run into each other during the rest of the cruise.
I had a big Cruise critic meet this past July & met lots of nice people. It was fun because we met up a lot in the nightclubs. Some of us even did a tour together in Belize after talking the first few nights. Our kids even talk online together.

Maybe we can say HEY after the sail away party at one of the pool bars or the cove, then meet up on Monday night or afternoon? I'm a night owl, anyone else? I will also be online during the cruise.

I am also a night owl, but not having another adult with me, I can't really leave the kids alone in the room late at night. :rolleyes:

I tried to get t-shirts that had our cruise date on them, etc, but Disney shopping kind of dropped the ball on that one. Cheryl, I am pretty much game on whatever you think is good. Maybe meeting on a certain side of deck 10 after the sail away so bringing kids wouldn't be as much of a problem? It doesn't seem as if many others are posting lately, but hopefully as the time gets closer?? I have only 16 days till we leave!!!!!! :Pinkbounc

My dear, that is what the kid's club is for!!! They stay open very late. My son is always the last one there & he loves the attention. lol

No problem bringing the kids on the meet. We always do. Remind me of your kid's ages? My son will be nine on Thursday.

I was thinking of wearing my Maiden Voyage tee shirt on Sail away day, but since that was nine years ago I'm afraid to look at what size it was! LOL
Is the new jumbotron on deck 10? maybe we can meet up next to that? I'll look through a few other meet threads to see where they ahve been meeting up.

Cheryl, I have 3 DDs... 11,7, and just under 3. She is potty trained now, but I am keeping my fingers crossed she "remembers" while she is having so much FUN!! :rotfl:

DDs LOVE the kids club and I am sure will stay til the end. I was thinking night owlish time was even later!! :rotfl:

I can live on no sleep!! :goodvibes

I am so looking forward to meeting some DISers on this cruise. A good friend of mine is also coming with a big group so I will have plenty of people to enjoy my time with without DH. A ribbon or string around the wrist seems easy enough!

Thanks for the warm welcome guys.... Cheryl I had my siggy, pics, and countdowns already done for the Disneymooners website so I just pulled them over to here. I guess that's cheating huh... Hehehe :earsboy:

I hope that I can meet you guys on the ship. It is always nice to meet other Disney Fanatics... It makes me feel a little less like I'm strange, since all my friends seem to think that I am for loving the Mouse so. :rotfl:

I will keep checking back to see if we get one planned I think it would be great. I am soooooo looking forward to getting away from work for a few days...

yes, night owlish could even go longer. I'll be the one on the computer at 3am. lol
so, I can't remember the age grouping but I think it's 9-11? Right? I get DCL & CCL Confused.
Maybe my son will be in your oldest's group.
A string will be great on the wrist. A bright color.
I'll also be with a group. I know Katherine has posted here. I'll have to nudge her to check back!
