Also, I'm not sure about the FE exchange. As a 1st timer this really sounds cool, but looking at some of the FE threads, it's pretty intimidating, especially for someone who is not very crafty.

Anybody care to give advise either way on FE's?

We did them on our first cruise. It was really fun, but now it seems they are a lot more involved. We opted out this time because Dave and I are on a second honeymoon of sorts, and have decided to do pretty much everything with as little planning as possible once we touch down in FL. Our lives here at home are so regimented, scheduled, etc. Very happy but extremely busy. We joke around that if our kids weren't in sports we'd never see each otherI am looking forward to a vacation with absolutely not one list, lol (besides our packing list and itinerary-which are already done)
Our kids aren't coming on this trip either, and the FEs were more for them last time.
With different circumstances we would be more apt do the FE.

So sorry. Trying to catch up on my orders so I havent had much time on here. What are you looking for advice with the FE or the gifts? If you need any help at all with making an FE, dont hesitate to ask I will be more than happy to help ya! About the gifts, I'm not real helpful there. Last time I found some cup cozies and was able to embroidery on them. I was slammed months before the trip so I barely had time to get those done. This trip will be different (if we actually get to go). I have been saving the bags that pillowcases come in (that sounds weird) and I have so many. I am trying to think of some way to use them for FE gifts, but I am coming up blank :-(

Anyway, wanted to offer my help for FE construction!! As far as gifts, I loved having momentiums from where the families were from. I didnt do that, but I wanted to. I wanted to find some GooGoos (from the Grand Ole Opry since I am from Nashville) but never could. Now I find them everywhere!

I am halfway hoping they dont have a sale like they did for September. I absolutely despise flying but my mother hates to travel by car (12 hour drive). I love driving but if they have a sale, more than likely we will fly <shudder>. No sale, no sale, no sale.

I am just hoping for something reasonable, no way I'd drive from MA. My son just drove to Raleigh NC with his girlfriend and her family and even he said never again...If we were closer maybe. We drive to Acadia NP every summer for a camping trip about 6 hours) and I am SO ready to get out of that car when we get there

Oh my gosh! Yes definitely fly if I was going from MA but then again, I would just make it a 2 day drive if I could possibly do so instead of flying. I loth it! LOL

Thanks! We figured we had to take our first honeymoon on our first anniversary, so we could celebrate our 25th a bit early to make up for it
We would have waited a year, but the timing was right, and we have enough Disney VISA points to pay for the entire trip, so we are going! It will be strange without our boys (20, 18, and 15 when we sail), but they are all fine with us going, and my mom lives with us so she'll look after the younger 2 if needed (oldest will be a jr in college). I promised them all another cruise on RCCL Independence of the Seas at a future time, and they were satisfied with that.
We are really really looking forward to a nice relaxing week

Here's who is coming at the moment (may add friends and family later on):

DD - Felicity (will be 5yrs)
DS - Jackson (2)

Right now we have early seating, not sure which room...I have to check, but I know we are on Deck 8.

Welcome! This is my 3rd Disney cruise (3rd ever) and we went on the Wonder and did a back to back so this will be my first Caribbean and 7 nighter too. I am sooooo looking forward to 3 days at sea! Our first cruise we kinda had 3 days at sea because we were trying to run from a tropical depression and missed Castaway Cay twice so we basically sailed in circles lol But I am sure this will be much more fun. I didnt like the trip broken up but was so excited to meet our second cruise's meet thread people!!

Hi Jen-we are a no for the FE, no for high tea, possible for brunch (if we can't get our evening ressie we'll do brunch). I guess you could also add our ages-both of us will be in our mid-40's when we sail. I think that fills in all the blanks

Are there planned times yet for the activities?
