here is the scoop!
We will be on the cruise, still working out a room number. This will be our second cruise, we did a 3 night last Oct, and is officially my 40th birthday gift. It'll be me, my husband and my 2 boys that will be 14 and 11. I am SOOO excited!!

We have been talking about excurtions already. Not sure what we are going to do, nothing much sounded like things we'd like to do.

Any body out there wish it were January 16, 2007 instead of June 16, 2006 besides me? What I wouldn't give to be on a day at sea getting ready to go to Castaway Cay in the morning?!?!!!
I am moving in less than 2 weeks so I am checking the board less often. A huge project begins about July 15 that will take over 6 months to complete for work and the interviews related to it will be happening a week after I return from my cruise. You know what I'll be doing, reading reading and re reading, praying , reading and praying somemore. Want to find me on the cruise, I'll be the lady in Cove cafe reading or on deck 4 with the laptop working on this project unless I am having meditation and prayer time while at the spa or in the hot tub (what a great place for meditation, prayer and unwinding)

Just a word of welcome all of those new to this thread. I hope that all will have a safe summer and that the snow arrives after we get to Orlando and it can snow and ice a foot for all I care as long as we have wonderful sailing weather. Blessings for a safe and wonderful summer and thanks Pdarrah for the wonderful site and information that you are posting for us.

Quick question, somewhere I saw a grid of days with dates, theme nights, ports and other info on it. I can't find it any longer and think it might have been a different cruise. I think something like that would be helpful to me.

Hi Everyone!

We're back from WDW - had a great trip! It seems like we attract tropical weather. Last October our cruise had to dodge Wilma, Alpha & Beta and at WDW we got to meet Alberto Actually, we rather liked Alberto - he put out the brush fires, cooled things off a bit and kept a lot of people out of the parks (we're kind of like ducks - we LIKE the rain at WDW )

ColoradoMom - there is a chart on our cruise website at www.bwdarrah.com/dcl --> then click on "Usefull Stuff". The chart currently has info from last October - but since it is a Western it should be pretty close. I'll re-do it as we get closer and have more current information.

Just wanted to post that my family and I will be on this cruise. We are DVC members who own at the BCV and SSR and while we are vets of WDW this will be our first cruise. We will be staying in room 6062. Both of my kids, DS and DD will be 5 at the time. We are looking forward to this cruise and I am reading everything I can. Just started the 2006 edition of DCL Passporter. Very interesting and useful info in this book. Well, glad to be joining the fray and look forward to the info everyone can give.

Welcome to the new folks!

Well, I'm finally back and may have some time to catch up with stuff here! Our Garden Walk went great - we had gorgeous weather and everything went well. We took a much needed break over the 4th of July weekend and went to my family's cabin in Northern Wisconsin. It was so nice to sit back and relax for a few days! Now, I just need to worry about the "usual" stuff, work, cleaning the house, weeding the gardens, driving DS7 around to his stuff, etc.

Our next break is a weekend trip to Chicago - only 1 hour from home. We are going to go into the city and play tourist for a few days and visit the museums, parks, etc. That is near the end of July. So for the next few weeks I get to deal with catching up with life!

Would anyone else like to add their information to the "Who's Going" list? So far we have Pdarrah, Skylynx, Cepmom, LuvEeyore, Ginny, and Sopandbass/Thomprod. Feel free to include as much or as little information as you like. If anyone want's to include their info, just send me an email (pdarrah@sprynet.com) or PM via the DISBoard. My DS7 keeps asking if there are other kids going on the cruise that are near his age. Would any of the kids going on the cruise like to exchange emails with him? Since his spelling tends to be VERY creative, I would probably type for him - but it might be fun for the kids to get to know each other a little before the cruise....
