January 13-17 - Anything Big Going On?

I am helping a friend plan a trip to WDW and she is looking at January 13-17, 2004. Can you tell me if there is anything going on down there at that time that might make it more crowded? Any special event?

Nothing is scheduled at the moment. As for crowds, the first couple weeks of January (after New Years is over) are pretty much THE least crowded time of the year at WDW.

With those dates you are just past the marathon weekend and just before MLK holiday weekend. I think the parks will be quiet and uncrowded...and will begin to pick up on Friday with the holiday weekend. There are no special events going on that I know of...but keep checking the Disney website....they put out events when they post park hours, which hopefully will be tomorrow! Hope that helps!
