We started the day at RFC at DAK. We had won a $25 RFC gift certificate from Halloween. We made a Jack Skellington pumpkin and DH won first prize where he works.
Breakfast was okay. DH liked his better. (Spanish Pizza) I had eggs benedict that was okay. Juice, coffee... Even after the Safari club discount and the gift certificate, we still paid $8 - $10 for breakfast. Which I thought was too much. (DH was very hungry that morning. Usually we eat a light breakfast.)
We spent the day at DAK and had a great time. The weather was very pleasant, but I was glad I took light weight ponchos for KRR. The park was so dead we were allowed to ride it twice without getting off. (And could have rode more if we had wanted.)
A British family of four was oppoisite of us and Grandma got soaked!
We all remained in the same seats. The second time around, DH and I got the tidal wave!
So who gets wet doesn't appear to be due to weight distribution. Just dumb luck.
Only one heater was going. I saw a few people in various restrooms, in stages of undress drying out the clothes under the hand dryers!
We ate a late lunch (too much) at the Flame Tree Grill.
THEN found out about the buttons at the KRR railing where you can spray people. We went back, but there was a long line and we finally left the park after a great day.
We even broke down and did a few of the carney games you have to pay for.
But I have a cute stuffed frog to show for it.
We repeated Friday night by returning to the Flying Fish and watching Illuminations again.
Another great day at WDW.
Tuesday, the 14, was our dullest day. And it surprised us. We took the Hidden Treasures of Showcase tour. We have taken two other behind the scenes tour on prior trips and really enjoyed them.
This was *okay*. We said the same: it was lacking and too much $ for what it was. KttK and UnDISCOVERed were much better all the way around. Oh well.
And I was initially charged too much for the tour and had a heck of a time getting anyone to refund a lousy $17.70 (DC discount). They are eager to take the $. But not to hand it over. If the tour had been better, we wouldn't have even cared as much. But....
We ate at The Land, and were again disappointed.
Then we went to MK.
We had a great time, which included dinner at the Crystal Palace, Spectromagic and the MK fireworks!

Then the most exciting portion of the day -- LAUNDRY at ASMu before flopping into bed!
