January 10, 2008 1-10-08 WONDER - I'm Booked

Thank you Happy Cruisin. I am glad that in the color scheme world
I can't believe it is so close.:scared1:

We have DVR now I just have to figure how to work it. I watched return of the mummy for my first movie. Crazy I am excited to go bowling with our gang from 180.

A. B. told me that you have it now. Way to go. It's so easy, you will pick it up like that. We need to watch a good one. popcorn:: I just got off of work and have to go to an appointment and then some errands. I wanted to go to the batting cages after, but my dad wanted to go with me on the errands, so I don't think the batting cages will happen :( Oh well.

"]Alyssa is finally better YEAH Back to it The friends are leaving and Bowling is coming up and and and:banana:  Let's get something started, I've been cooped up for far to long and so has she. Alyssa said she would do some rock climbing and then some batting in the cages. I just received a phamphlet on florida in the mail. I've dreaming of a hot cruise. (Not White Christmas) How about you?? Hey on cable I watched the twin towers and the king returns, now my bottom is sore from sitting to long. I think I'm addicted.

Funny post. You tell Alyssa I am always ready for the batting cages, and maybe even rock climbing. If the color is not working the first time you post, just go through the editing mode.

The Two Towers was not my favorite movie out of the series. For one, because after the movie, my rear was sore.

Tonite Alyssa and I will watch Jingle all the Way. The presents are wrapped and under the tree, but now the wait is on. What's your favorite Christmas movie of all time? I was reading a post about the Disney Cruise someone had just taken and they had 30ft waves. Thats crazy. They were not allowed to come on deck. We want smooth sailing all the way.:hourglass

I love White Christmas. As far as the 30ft waves, they will NOT be there when we go cruising. Pray and believe with me on this Jackster. God can do the impossible!! ;)
On a different note, I feel swamped with all the stuff that I have to do before we leave Christmas Day. We basically need to plan the two trips right away because when we get back for Phoenix we will have no time for anything...we will be hurrying to get everything ready.

A room off our bedroom has be designated the trip room. All things going with us are piled in there. I can bearly get into it, but somehow we just keep adding to it. When is your last day of work? It was to bad that we did not get to go bowling, but you only have 5 days till you leave for the southwest, I am so excited for your time with all your family at Christmas. Don't get to busy to keep in touch with me and lissy. We still have to finish our dead lines for school so she does not have bring one stitch of work along. I can't imagine what you are going through with having to plan for two big trips back to back.
Yikes!:dance3: But do the dance of happiness anyway.

J-R,

How was your Christmas party and how was did they like the food?

How is this pic for ya Jkstr?

Well, I am working everyday right up to Christmas day. I usually work the weekends, so that is nothing new. The new part that I am not too keen on is that tomorrow I usually work 8-1, but since it is the holiday season I am working 9-4. The other new thing because of the holiday season is that I am working those hours on Sunday. I have never worked a Sunday, so this should be interesting. The crappy thing is that I hate working those long hours on the weekends because weekends are really dead, and that just makes the time go longer. The other thing is that I hate is that I am working Christmas Eve, but no one is getting double time because since it is the eve and night before Christmas, not the actual day, they do not consider it a holiday (even though it is on the holiday listing for who is working). If you ask me, this whole system is going down the tubes. Oh well, at least I get a good paycheck.
I think I have to pack for 2 and a half trip because didn't you and liss say that we need an extra little suitcase for the cruise? I will definitely keep in contact over email during our trip.:rotfl:
I also have to get everything for school ready because I go back the next day. Yikes! :scared1: I am not liking that thought.

Hello! We are cruising on 1/10 as well, booked last Feb.! Sailing on my sons 11th birthday as his gift!! Our other son is 9 so if you have children give us a holler out and maybe they can meet up on the ship! It's always fun to make friends from far away. Our mother in law is also joining us (her retirement gift) and she loves to dance. See you all very soon!!!!:goodvibes
ps our first disney cruise!!!

So glad you could join this thread. Not much action on it. So Bagera and I just
chat to pass the time before we leave on this much awaited cruise. It will be my 2nd time on a Disney cruise. First time was on the Magic in 2004. The ships are practically identical, so I know I will have a great time. Bagera is one of our families closest friends, that is why we talk so naturally to one another. No kids under 16 in our group. This will be a great birthday present for your son and whole family.

Bagera heres my favorite color.

jdsmom98, I am glad that you could join in on the fun. This is my first cruise as well, and I am privileged to be going with my great friends.
J- Rabbit, I am glad that you got the color working again. Guess what? You know how I told you I was really ticked because I was working Christmas Eve and not getting double time? Well, a co-worker and I were talking about it and she said, "Wait, I heard we do get double time. So she asked a manager and he said that we do get it. I am very excited. So from Friday to Monday, I have 31 hours in!! Awesome.

Hi! Just wanted to introduce myself as well. This cruise is a surprise Christmas present for my mom. She'd had a lot of changes in her life this year, and I want her to celebrate her courage and hard work. (I'm so excited! This cruise is the biggest present that I've ever given. I'm only in my 20s and recently entered the work force.)

Anyway, I cleared the time off with her work, booked her flight, etc. Now I'm just trying to figure out the best way to present her with the surprise. Any suggestions?

marthasunny, that is great that you are joining us on this cruise. What a great gift this will be for your mom. One idea will be to create a really cool pamphlet and wrap it in a gift box. That always works.

Marthasunny so glad you could also join us on this awesome Disney cruise. I love Bagera's idea for your mom. Another idea could be to video tape yourselves asking her to come. Give her the tape to watch. I guess the ways to tell her are endless. E-mail is fun and colorful as Bagera has shone us, and that reminds me another idea, an e-card.:yay: I love surprises.

Nice idea Happy Cruisin. :lmao: Whatever you do, marthasunny, it will be a good time. H C, I can't wait for the disco floors :thumbsup2
