Janet Evanovich - Stephanie Plum Series

I've never read the holiday books, how do they tie into the regular series, or do they tie in at all?

Yes, they tie in with the series, same characters. There is a reoccuring character in each "between the numbers" book named Diesel who is ummm, "other worldly" may be the best way to put it. These little books are if possible even fluffer, and very funny.

Thanks for posting that. I was wondering...

I finished 12 last night. They sure are quick reads, but I really like them. I only have 13 at home to read. My mom has 14 for me and some of the Plum ones, but I don't know when I am going to see her next. I may have to go find them. lol I am sad to be almost done with these. I really like the characters.

A friend gave me another vampire series to read. So, I do have something else waiting for me. I also want to reread the Twilight books, but I think I was to save those for vacation.

Which vampire series?

I started re-reading the entire Plum series last night. I forgot how funny Grandma Mazer is!

You know - I don't know the name. I brought them home and sat them on my shelf and didn't even look. I will look tonight! There are 5 books in the series.

I think that the between the number books should be read in order amongst themselves but not necessarily in order with the number books. Does that make sense? I don't particularly care for the the between the number books. They are just a little out there for me.

If you like this series, you will like the A to Z series by Sue Grafton. They are very similar but I think Sue was first in putting out these kind of books. Highly recommend it!:worship:

It makes perfect sense. The in-between books appear to span holidays over a single year; the numbered books are relatively chronological, i.e. Stephanie will refer to some previous event in a later book. Best example: the infamous fire ;)

I just began reading Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series. I am 100 pages away from finishing the first book. I am absolutely loving them and totally addicted!

I am addicted also.. but I am gong backwards lol. I read plum spooky, than 15 and now 14. I do them as audio books on my ipod. The narrator is great and brings all of the characters to life. Lula is a hoot.
