I am planning our first Disney trip for my husband, 6 yr old daughter, and myself for next year. My big debate right now is should we go in january or in march? I'm a little concerned about the weather. I have also read that the parks close earlier in January and was wondering about parades and fireworks.....so many of you have so much experience I'm hoping that I can get a few opinions on this!!!!! thanks so much!!!!!:wave2:

for a first time visit, you can get overloaded.......even with parks that close early, there is still alot to do. you can enjoy your resort, for one.......check out all the resort restaurants.......shop in dtd.........and epcot WS will stay open late..........i think it's a great time to go bc the crowds are lower in jan than march....think spring break, mardi gras holidays.

We enjoy the winter months. We are in Ohio and the weather in Florida is perfect in January and February for us. There are few crowds and we have rarely noticed early closing hours. Usually, they are just about right for us. And we don't have to keep tired kids going an extra hour for the fireworks.

thank you so much for your input..... i have been leading toward january and think that i am going to go ahead and book for then. not to mention that my daughter's bday is right before our chosen dates in jan (bday is 2nd trip will be 8-14th) i think this will make it extra special for her...not that she isn't excited enough as it is!!!!! another question......i read somewhere that the perfectly princess tea party is only running through oct or nov.....can anyone validate this info for me??? thanks again!!!!!
