Jan. Hours

This is my first post on the DIS, though I've been lurking for a while. And we will all be first timers to WDW. (Sigh). Better late then never!

We'll be there from Jan 10 - Jan 17. We'll be offsite at WH and just purchased our airfare yesterday. So, um, it's official.

Ohhh, I hope they post the hours on July 1. One can hope!

last week january 2007 SM was open

last week Jan 2008 it was closed for refurbishement. My family was very disapointed.

Hoping I can take them jan 2009

I'm also really hoping Splash will be open. Though I think I read somewhere (don't remember where--sigh, I browse too many different websites!) that Space Mountain would be going down in January for a major rehab. Has anyone else heard that? If so, Splash would definitely be open, right? (fingers crossed)

I'll be paying close attention to what happens with the January hours since I'll be joining the waiting game next month. I'll be one of the many escaping Mardi Gras. I'm interested in seeing if the hours come out as planned.

We're going Jan. 1-7. I'm pretty much on my own I think as far as hours go for ADR's. But we don't eat much and usually share meals so we are not doing DDP or a lot of ts meals. We are doing 1900 Park Fare on the 1st and Chef Mickey's for breakfast one of the mornings, so I think I'm ok. I hope!

Woohoo! I'm going January 1st through 7th with a big ol' group of my friends, staying at Pop! I haven't been since I went with my family when I was eighteen, so I'm super-excited. Six years between trips is just too long!

Um, if the hours don't come out on-time, I may weep. WEEP!

??? I hope someone can answer for do you have to have your reservations at your hotel before you make your ADR's on the dining plan? Its our first time on the dining plan & have none done ADR's before. Never knew about them till I found Dis!!
