Jan/Feb Trip or Dec?

Things are coming together here quicker then I expected. It means I'll still be able to do one trip in 2007 but I'm seriously thinking of doing a late Jan/Feb trip instead of Dec 2007. I'm REALLY very curious to see the pirate nights that will be running early in the year. Thoughts?

I would love to go to WDW at ANY time, however, it seems like a lot of things are going to be closed down for rehabs in January/February. I guess it just depends on what exactly you want to see. If the pirate party is a priority, go for it!!!

Any chance of doing both? Depending on how long you stay, an annual pass may help make doing both a bit more economical since admission for the second visit will be "free".

I've gone during both times of the year and enjoy them equally. Early December would probably get the nod if I had to chose, just for the decorations.

We went in Feb 06 and loved it so much we are going Feb 07. Haven't been during the Christmas season though. I think that would be a great time to go as long as its during the FIRST half of the month.

As far as rehabs go, there are a few things that were closed but not at all noticeable to us. When we go this next time, Teppanyaki will be closed, as well as one of the water parks. But it's not quite warm enough in Feb to do waterparks anyway so it's not a big deal. There may be other things closed, but I haven't read much.

Weather is great, and crowds too.

We've been both times and I vote for early December. Crowds seemed similar, but everything was up and running in December. Several big attractions are always closed in Jan/Feb. Plus the Christmas decorations and atmosphere just can't be beat.
