Well I have never traveled during any of these times!

Which is best as far as pricing, crowds, and weather?

Or at least the pros and cons of each

Also we will be a family of five by then. With one of us being either 4 5 or 6 months at the time of travel I wanted to wait till he was six months but I think March may be the worst of the three months I want to travel

For pricing, I would look at the price list here
and see the prices listed for 2014 and find out exactly. Generally, Jan is the cheapest, most expensive around spring break and holidays.

Check out easywdw.com for crowd calendar.

Weather is ideal in Feb for touring but may not be warm enough for swimmer-not sure what you're after.

Feb gets my vote.

Im not sure yet either lol. We will nl be looking for a room with space due to having the four of us and an infant. Swimming us not a must. Lite crowds would be good add we will be moving slower than usual. And price really.we would like the best bang for our buck. We have never stayed deluxe I was hoping to give that a try but only if we could get it for the right price if not mods are great.

The best trip we ever had was in January, because the crowds were very light. Gotta watch out in February.., with Presidents Day week being busy and Mardi Gras bringing crowds escaping LA. Then March will bring varied spring break vacationers. I would go in January.

i've only ever gone during jan and feb. the weather is usually awesome IMO. it's not too hot but not so cold you can't manage an afternoon at a water park. nights are generally cooler but nothing a light hoodie can't fix. however i have heard some tales of chilly weather in years past. i just pack for light, but layered clothes.

i do try to time my vacations for when the crowd level should be lightest. there are some tour groups but i found them easy enough to avoid. even the crowd that comes with the marathon isn't really bad. the marathoners seem to do more hanging out at the resorts than play in the parks.

cons: ride refurbs, some seasonal stuff is closed, some qs counters and food carts are closed, and some activities may be closed. i've never really noticed any of this impact my trips much aside from having never ridden splash mountain.

Mardi Gras is Feb 17, while I am a sucker for Marathon Weekend, an early March trip SHOULD have better weather.

We actually always go in January. Lighter crowds, cheaper and free dining usually! Some days are colder than others but a couple days are usually mid 70-80s

Free dining??

If you can avoid New Years week, MLK weekend, presidents weekend, and marathon weekend... January and February are MUCH better crowd wise and price wise than March. And weather is so unpredictable, you never can tell. This year was pretty cold up thru April, other years it has been warm in January.

I think I would prefer Jan or Feb but my ds will only be 4 or 5 months then....

That's the only reason I was considering March he will be 6 months. Honestly at that age though I'm not sure it will matter much

Hhhmmm when are the tour groups usually there?

Mid January to Mid February. Mostly in all the values, some in moderate. Went 2013 last week of January, 2014 first week of February and more came in as we were leaving. IF I return to WDW during that time frame again I will be staying deluxe or off property. At the parks you can avoid them (and FP+ has really helped) but the buses and resorts were adversely affected (POP). I thought eating at AoA would be better but no, there too.

second week after Easter - April 2016. great weather, low crowds. only 3-4 weeks passed your range.

I just went in January for the first time this year and it was my favorite WDW trip so far. Weather was much colder than I am used to (but I am from Miami so..). Crowds were extremely minimal, which is why I chose January. It was great!

This month I was trying to avoid due to unknown times of spring break.

We have been in WDW in Jan and Mar of this year and Feb of last year.

January:
cheapest rates, coldest weather, parks close early, some rides are closed for refurb

crowds - mostly low - as long as you avoid the MLK crowd and tour groups

February - early in the month will still have low rates, the weather tends to be a little warmer, it is the driest month of the year in Florida, and the crowds are still low as long as you avoid President's Week. There will still be rides closed for refurb but the parks are starting to extend their hours a bit.

March - rates are higher, weather is warmer, crowds are greater, most rides are open, park hours are extended and the Flower and Garden Show opens in March. This is spring break time, but the weather is great.
