Jan during Xmas season

Thinking of maybe going during Xmas season but say first few days of jan.

Do you still feel xmassy or is it a bit flat and "all over with"

Two sisters work in school so can't go before break up and too expensive over Xmas

I can't speak from experience as I've only been over Christmas itself but I should think it all depends on how you view the Chistmas season - some people like all signs of Christmas gone even before New Year is here whereas others keep everything up until twelfth night. If you're the latter type then I'd say it's the ideal solution - gives you the chance to experience the Christmas stuff, fits in with your sisters, and hopefully there will be less crowds.
