How is Jan availability looking. I just decided to run the WDW marathon and of course my home resort BLT is booked. Any chance of getting in some where else at the 7 month mark?

You can check availability on the website using the "Check Resort Availability" link on the DVCMember.com site. It will show availability at all resorts, not just your home resort, out to 11 months.

Might depend on what size unit you're looking to book?! We're going the 1st week in January (3rd - 9th) and I look at the availability tool sometimes just to see if it looks like we might be able to switch to AKV or something at 7 months (not looking likely). I already booked a studio at SSR (new std. view category) and I can tell you that every resort including that category at SSR already have at least only "partial" availability for the 5th-7th. SSR has full availability for studios in the new higher point cost "preferred" category. The 5th & 6th seem to be the most frequently booked nights across the board. If you're looking for a 1-bedroom or larger you might find different results. But the studios have been a popular choice so far for that week and the only thing completely open for studios is SSR.
