Sorry about your wrist, Carrey. Glad it's supposed to be better for the trip. I'm still all excited but nobody's talking. My plans for the FEs are coming together. Looks like we'll be delivering on 3 different days. Been embracing the name - Mariachi Mickey's Mucho Maravilloso Mexican Rivera Cruise. I know Christmas is busy but, come on, less than a month til we take to the high seas.

I check the boards every hour! I'm so excited too but I never know what to type! haha. We're almost done with our FEs!

7 days of FEs are done! Xmas gifts are done. Finally convinced hubby and I ordered a new MacBook Pro for myself! Great day!

BTW, I thought i would give you all a laugh. This is the reason I need a new laptop

This is my "Red Green Special" Dell Studio 17" laptop that is 1 step from death. The screen is falling apart and both hinges are busted. This is only 3 years old. "Dude - don't get a Dell!"

Notice the expert duck tape & mini tie strap application. This is the only way to make the laptop functional. Its like this on both hinges and now cannot be closed... and people wonder why I need a new laptop?

Dell makes good computers, but to get quality pieces, you have to choose one of their "business" computers.
I have worked a lot with Dell business computers and they are pretty hearty. Though their "home" computers don't tend to last.

We like to get a hold of a Navigator as soon as possible. Hopefully at the dock. We also try to get into the room asap and the brunch is usually good. Best thing, for me anyway, is the Sail Away. I love watching the ship sail from the dock.

I have no idea what we will do first!! My DH and I have only been on two cruises before - Windstar and Carnival. This will be Ethan's first cruise so should be interesting!

Don't forget the fun and exciting life vest drill. At 4 o'clock we meet to see our life boats. I was sooooo glad when we didn't have to wear the vest anymore.

Swim?!?! Are you sure your not going to snag a mickey ice-cream bar? I don't know what we'll do first...maybe do a tour of the boat and get oriented then EAT! Maybe go a see a movie at night, too. Does anyone know what movies will be playing on the cruise?

Just not directly after I ate my first buffet... That's a room service thing, and at that time, I won't even have access to my room, let alone room service!

Carrey so sorry to hear about your wrist.... hope it heals fast! I am getting excited also but have been crazy planning a party for Friday night and getting ready for the holidays. Also in addition to getting everything for the Fish Extender I have also been getting little gifts for my boys for each night of the cruise. It is a tradition we started when they were little to leave a gift each night for the room steward to put out with the towel animals and signed it from Captain Jack Sparrow. I had forgotten about it until my DS11 said we are going on the Disney Cruise that means we get gifts from Captain Jack (Kind of like the tooth fairy ha ha). I wish he did not remember now that they are older I can not think of anything for my DS14.

Getting on the ship the first thing we will do is try to register for the "Character Tea"...hoping they will have one. Then eat lunch. Getting a navigator right away is a great tip. I am curious about these Mickey bars...have never had one. Guess we are slow as we also missed the peppermint ice cream at Disneyland this weekend. You all are so wonderful about sharing. We look forward to meeting you. Is it likely we will be in our rooms before the 3:00 meetup? Any idea what time the Sail Away party is? Will we likely be in our rooms before the Sail Away party?

Thanks carreyw. It looks like most people make them 9-11 inches wide. I found a post that says the new ships only have room for 8 inch wide. I haven't been able to tell how deep the pockets are...

Denvers vet appointment is Monday - We will get his health certificate and then he will be ready to roll

I cant wait to EAT lol I have been in the gym trying to loose 5 pounds so I can gain it back on the cruise
