Do they ever allow children under the age of 11 into Edge?

My son will be 10 in March, but he plays mostly with older kids that are 11-12. He actually wants to do both the Oceanners Lab & Edge but I don't think he will be allowed in Edge.

We were told there is a Disney shuttle between LAX and the ship. No one has told us we need to buy a ticket or make a reservation. We are assuming you just find it and take it to the ship. Is this accurate? Thanks...first cruise on Disney.

If you booked your flights through Disney then your ground transportation from airport to ship is included. If you didn't, I'm sure you could ride the shuttle but it will probably cost something.

The same happened to me...must just be a wacky server putting them in the wrong order. I booked my own flights. Wondering if it is better to ask ahead of the trip or just show up and see what they will charge us....thoughts? Thanks for the help

I think you might be able to add it onto your reservation too. Call Disney and see if they can set it up for you.

I got my cruise docs from my agent. All i received is the little coil book with luggage tags. Is that all there was? Just want to make sure I am not missing anything

I was able to book the ground transportation on-line. Mom got the cruise docs today and they state a limited number of seats are available unless prearranged. BTW, it was $240 for 4 of us round trip.

Just booked our Palo ressie. We were not sure if we were going to do it but we've been convinced!

Change of plans! Instead of returning our first rental car to Alamo on the 8th, we are going to keep it till the 15th. We are now staying at the Doubletree in San Pedro on the 7th so we will leave it there for the week and then return it to LAX the night of the 15th. No more crazy one way rental from Enterprise. Everything is coming together!!!

So excited!!

I'm going to break this down because it's kind of confusing.

4 staterooms

Stateroom 1
2 adults (Samantha and Jesse)
2 children (Marley and Josie)

Stateroom 2
2 adults (Sparkling and Matt)
2 children (Kailah and Bryanna)

Stateroom 3
2 adults (Bryan and Sandy)

Stateroom 4
1 adult (David)
1 child (Noell)


We're doing gifts by age groups (3 year olds and 17 year olds like different things) but we don't know the ages of the children of some families.

For the families that don't list the ages of their children, we'll just be giving them a general family gift and not individual gifts for the children.

It isn't personal, and it's not meant to offend anyone. I understand that some people are private and don't want to list their children's age on a public forum. The reason we decided this was because we aren't very good guessers and we'd rather not go through the time and money of creating things for kids that they are too young or too old for.
