I got an email and phone call about the itinerary change. I am happy to have the extra day in Cabo. This happened on our March Carnival cruise as well.

Hey guys we got the call and the e mail too - Do you think we will sit off the shore in Cabo overnight ? Wonder what the time will be like in cabo since we wont have to sail anywhere for the next day ? Or will they take us out then back ? Seems like a waste of fuel that way but who knows with Disney LOL

I am doing the dolphin swim in Cabo and the Outdoor adventure in PV and the other cabo day Im eating chips and salsa and shopping

I'm not sure how to add to the first page. I tried to figure it out but no luck. I've made a master list and have it saved to my comp. I can keep re-posting it when we add more people or I can email it to anyone if they want to keep a list themselves.

Let me know if anyone finds out how to post on the first page!

Hi everyone! This will be our first cruise, ever! I'm rather new to everything, but I've been reading all the great tips and tricks about the DCL. I'm interested in joining the FE, can someone fill me in on the whole process? Thanks in advance!

Welcome marianner!

The FE is basically like a secret santa. Everyone hangs pockets outside their stateroom door and gifts are left inside. Some people drop off gifts every day and others just do one gift. We have a master list going right now. What are the names/ages of everyone in your group and I can add you on!

Welcome to the newbies ! Disney Cruise will spoil you !

WOW we have a LOT of cabins already - I think I counted 13 ! Im wondering if we should split the list if it gets any bigger ... Last cruise we had 24 and it was WAY TOO MANY ! I spend 2 hrs delivering stuff - thats ok when you have kids to do it but I dont LOL ..... Let me know everyones thoughts on this .... also are we doing daily ? Or every other day ? Maybe we can put people on rotating schedules so there is still something in the FE for the kiddies every day but group A delivers 1 day and group B delivers the next and so on and so forth .... Im game for anything but I dont want more than 12 cabins myself so if everyone wants to stay together thats fine I will probb just pass on the FE this time as it is my best friends first cruise and I want her to enjoy everything ....
keep me posted and let me know everyones thoughts
ALSO we should be thinking graphics and names at some point - any suggestions ? Im no good at graphics LOL ....Names well lets see....... YUP not good there either LOL

I was thinking about the FE too. A lot of the people on the list said they were interested but haven't posted anything since so I'm not even sure if everyone on there is REALLY going to participate. Maybe we can make a new list of the people that are really serious about it? If you are SERIOUSLY going to participate in the FE, please post whether you are or not, then I can refine our list. I bet it will end up shrinking.

In my past FE's, everyone did it differently with gifts. Some people decided to do just one bigger gift while others wanted to do little gifts every day. Do we want to make it a standard thing where everyone has to do one or the other? I personally prefer only doing one big gift that way I'm not going around to the staterooms every day.

What does everyone else think??

I think people are just busy ... I think the list will grow if anything this happened my last cruise and people jumped in last min . I bet come Nov people will start hopping on board here .
I personally dont mind the smaller gifts every day but if we broke it down into groups A and rotated days that means each cabin would really only be doing the gifts 3 times .... so A could do M W F and B could do T TH SAT and if the groups got too big we could do AB C AND D groups .... what do you think about that ?

We only like to go out once and we like to pick our day depending on what's going on that day (day at sea or at port). We would only be doing one bigger gift rather than multiple days of smaller gifts. It's also easier for us to pack only having one gift.
