FRIDAY
We went to Typhoon Lagoon. It was finally warm enough to swim. We knew the water was heated, but apparantly the waterfalls are not. Our first getting wet was the family tube ride, which is almost all waterfalls. We froze! We hit everything there. The wait was only as long as it took you to walk up to the ride. It was nice to have a non-crowded wave pool, too.

We went home to nap and have dinner, then headed off to Pleasure Island. The Adventurers Club was so much fun. We spent a lot of time in there. And there were about 20 people from Buffalo in the library show that we saw. The dance clubs were full, but not packed - a good thing. New Years at midnight was pretty sad. There were like, three fireworks. The last comdey show of the night was quite funny. We were glad we went.

SATURDAY
We parked at TTC, but split up for the day. JAson and I went back to MK to hit future world again. Alien Encounter broke, so we didn't get to do that. We did use fast passes for Space Mountain and Buzz, and were we grateful. It was as busy as people have said it would be. It was a great day, so I'm not suprised that locals were there. We traded some pins and talked to some wonderful CMs. Then we went over to MGM to do Tot, RnR, and Muppets again. We also saw Fantasmic. I was gald we did. It kicked Illuminations ***! It was also the only time we saw Mickey.

Then back to Epcot (yes, we went there every day) for Italian pastry and to see the parade. One guy lost his puppets arm, which was funny. Disney falling apart - you don't see that too often.

SUNDAY
Back to th real world. Continental was really disorganized. I've used the electronic kiosks for check in through Northwest a lot, so we tried to use them, but you needed a confirmation number. I rarely have that out and accessable, since no one ever asks for it. So, we get into the not-too-bad line. They had 2 people helping coach passengers and 4 helping first class. Hello? Does this make sense? They also started the "oh you showed up 30 min before your flight, don't worry, we'll take you to the front of the line" thing. I HATE that. I was responsible enough to get to the airport with time to spare, but now I'm cutting it close, since you were stupid? Traffic? That's why you leave extra early. I think they should have to be assigned to a later flight, but that's me.

Security lines were crazy. People were being sheep, though. There were 8 lines. Two wound all the way back to the check in areas. We got into a lone that was easily 1/10th the length of the long ones. The airport should have had people directing the lines, or have one massive live which dispurses to all the stations, like an airline checkin area. MCO has some work to do.

We got home safe and sound, even if we were delayed 45 min in Newark.

The moral of the story, is that I highly recommend mid-Jan as a time to go to DW. Low lines, not too bad weather, happier CMs, cheaper housing.

Any questions?

straighted out with the airports......it was always a zoo there even on a good day......thanks again
