Magic Kingdom Day.
Got to the park 9am the extended hours for resort guests this day were at Epcot from 9pm-12am so our plan was to do both. if you saw my first post we were on land for 3 days then went on a cruise. so we wanted to do as much as we could.
Well believe it or not i do not remember a whole lot of the magic kingdom. I was to busy watching my children have a wonderful time. The wide eyes and the smiles were enough to bring a tear of joy to my eye then and even now thinking about it. We did all the normal fun stuff that everyone does at the magic kingdom. We went on all the big rides. The one water ride in frontier land was closed though.
One moment that sticks out is the High School Musical Pep Rally show. This show is outside by space mountain. My daughter had so much fun. they took her out there to dance with them. she got to shoot basket ball with beach balls. my was she in heaven. that is her favorite movie and cd. When it was over she said to me. Dad those werent the real people.
i must say though the ride lines were not as long as i expected. longest line wait was space mountain. still didnt really know about fast pass thing yet. i didnt know they only gave out so many. huge mistake on my part.
after magic kingdom we went to eat somewhere then went to epcot from 9-midnight.
we rode evey ride there it was great no lines extended hours for resort guest are great.
Mission space WOW. the best ride i have ever been on. the whole family loved it. Well everyone but the 8 year old daughter. she loved it once we got through left off. It was so funny. As we were blasting off i asked her if she liked it she screamed at the top of her lungs NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. The boy 11 yrs old had a blast he though he was driving it for real not knowing your couldnt really make a mistake. she when it was done we told both kids how proud of them we were for geting us back safely. then they wanted to do it again.
Test track another great ride. well worth it. daughters face was priceless when the semi truck flashes its lights at you. the boy loved the outdoor oval test track the best. worth the wait.
The 2 attraction above are a must if going to epcot. there is also a hang gliding attraction in the living earth (i think its called) but the ride is called soarin. we missed that.
dont waste your time on the little aquarium attraction that has to do with nemo. it was a joke. the aquarium itself was a joke to. An avid marine reef keeper and my tanks at home are stocked with nicer fish and coral then what they had to offer. i was real disapointed in it.
the only down fall to the extended hours was most of the stuff in the countries were closed. it was real dark around there so we couldnt see much. but if you go there for the extended hours plan of hitting up the UK it was hopping. also like i said we wanted to go and ride the rides. we went back the next afternoon to see the countries and take photos.
next up animal kingdom in the AM and back to epcot in the afternoon.
