when we originally booked our package we didn't have our return flight. Then once we booked our flight home we needed to add a 1 nt room only at the end of our package. our flight is a late morning one. It is more expensive to add the last night to the package because then you have to pay for the dining plan too, and by the end of the week we will be ok with not eating a TS a CS and a snack, so its cheaper to just add 1 nt at the end. If we have to move oh well, but hoping they just let us stay in the standard room even though we paid for a garden for that last night. its all good. just was a long day.

Well we downgraded from AKL club (because the discount is only 5% off of all club levels) to a standard room at AKL for 30% off.

5/9/13- 6 nights for $2690.80 for 4 adults, 4D Park hoppers

instead of $ 4501.00, same extras

For that money saved we could eat at Bomas every morning for breakfast with plenty of savings left for snacks and alcohol beverages.

We have stayed at AKL club on our last trip (with a 40% discount) so if we don't get upgraded to a better room, it's okay, we know we can see the animals from the resort anyway.
We are very happy with our decision.

It's funny how Disney has us all excited over a discount program!
Disney is sooo overpriced to begin with and then they "offer" these fantastic "savings" in a discount. Everyone gets into a frenzy to jump on the promo. It's like the gasoline market where prices skyrocketed and then dropped down to $3.50 gallon. Now everyone thinks $3.50 a good price!

Did you have to pay the $200 deposit again and wait for the return of the first deposit?

If you downgraded a night did they charge you a fee? Like went from 6 nights to 5 nights.

We did not have to pay the deposit again because we were just modifying an existing reservation. If you were to need to cancel and rebook (for example, if you're going to switch from a package to room only or vice versa) then you'd have to re-do the deposit. I don't think there should be a fee for downgrading if you're more than 45 days out. After that I *think* there could be a charge but I'm not positive how that works.

Thank you! Maybe the person I spoke to meant if we needed to downgrade our vacation after the 45 day mark. That would make sense.

We had a room only ressie and then switched to a package so they will rebate us the original deposit and then re-charge us a new deposit under the new reservation number.

Just booked ASMu for 7 nights with 5 day base passes. Saved $300. For beginning of summer, couldn't ask for more!

We booked our trip online on Jan. 3rd

We only saved $163.50, but every little bit helps (especially because this is our budget trip). The trip is for 2 adults, 4/18-4/23.

Without the promo our trip would have been:
5 Nights @ Pop Century (Standard Room): $736.86
4-Day MWY Tickets on Undercover Tourist: $511.90
Total: $1,248.76

With the promo:
5 Nights @ Pop Century (Standard Room): $589.50
4-Day MYW Tickets: $495.76
Total: $1,085.26

hi my friends if you add the totall of the 2 charts (discounted room and disounted tickets for 2 adults ) will be the same amount of the offer now at Disney website (5 dollars more or less) so the problem was that they raised the tickets and discounted a little more the rooms before the final release, but the total of the offer was the same, so you have made a correct idea of what was coming because 10 dollars more or less don´t make a difference in a Disney vacation. If you add more than 2 in a room it´s a difference because the tickets was raised before the release, but this was only for the American market the international offer (for Latin America) continues the same with the depeest discounted tickets
