Brack don't you just hate that! Missing out on the lunch, tour of the ship, gettting the best onboard reservations. Don't drag Annette too hard or she may stop taking you to WDW and on the cruises.

At least you will be able to make the sail-away party on Deck 10. That should be fun enough for a while (at least until dinner).

Called DCL last night and Haunted Mansion will be playing I also have held off from seeing it...oh, yeah, we will hold the ship for you Don't worry and have a wonderful time at Disney with Annette

I can just imagin how you feel I would hate to board late. I love getting there early and unpacking!!! Don't worry the ship won't sail without you relax and remember that your on vacation!!!
Actually being in this foot brace has one advantage I will be one of the first to board (I'd rather be last and walk on )

Thanks for the movie information I was wondering what the film was!!! Must get to the movies for sure!!! (I say that every time and never go. Opps I went twice on two different cruices but couldn't sit through the movie and left.).
Packed one suitcase today and the next one will be done on Thursday!!!!

I decided not to bring along my golf clubs as there will be so many other things to do in port. I'll have my DW put the $250.00 (or so) to better uses. I know that she will be able to figure out something for it. LOL.

What is everyones guess for weather??????

Even being in Florida it hard to imagine it being warm enough to swim.....

Packing for four is taking me so much longer than I would like........

Your too funny...looking forward to seeing both you and Annette. We just flew in from our Christmas trip to Kansas and brought Molly with us. We both can't wait for the end of this week to head down Disney Way.

I checked the weather this morning for Friday 1/2 the high is 75 and low of 55. Sailing day high is 74 low 56. SOUNDS GOOD TO ME!
Swimming not me has to be at least 90 for me to get wet!!!
I am sure the kids will be swimming they never get cold I can only remember those days!

Ok, I officially finished packing yesterday! Of course I have way too many suitcases, but what are you going to do?

Yesterday was very warm here and today it's beautiful, sunny and a high of 79. It looks to stay that way through the weekend so Key West should be great, just a couple of degrees colder.

Brack - we are also catching the DCL bus at the Swan. My TA told me it should be about 11:30, but for me to call and confirm. It is good to hear the "real" time. Does this mean lunch will be completely over when we arrive?!

We are getting excited. We are almost packed. I can't believe it is time!!!

I bet that you might just make the lunch. WHy not call the cruise line and check. They called me today informing me that they got the medical forn from my MD and that I did not have to report for the drill. This was a big concern of mine. I didn't want to hold up the people going down 3 flights of steps. They told me that I would need to go down to the area some time and be aware of my station. I told them my cabin is on deck 7 & I know my station is on deck 4 I think it is station 4 almost by the doors.

I know I'm overthinking this WAY too much... But how long do you think it will take to get from our hotel to checked in? Tiffany Towncar to load our luggage at the Polynesian, unload at the port, go thru security, and then check in at the port?

I would imagine it would only take a little more than an hour to get from the Polynesian to the Port... but with Level Orange in effect, it may take a little longer to get through security. Having never cruised before, but I would allow at least 45 minutes to get through security & checked in.

DARN! Work just threw us a loop and my husband now has a 1:00 meeting in St Petersburg on Friday. I'm trying to get him a one way rental car that he can drive up and return in Port Canaveral so the kids and I can drive up there ourselves on Friday. Otherwise, he has to drive all the way home and then turn around and we have to drive all the way back up to the port and will get there so late. Keep your fingers crossed that it all works.
