And that is why I won't stay in monorail resorts. I'm fine with taking the boats across to MK, as a matter of fact I prefer it but you are forced to take the monorail to Epcot. If they gave you a choice between a bus or the monorail, I would be o.k. with it but I have never been on the monorail when it wasn't stopped for something.

Having taken the ferries before, I do prefer to use the monorails.

But, on both our trips this year, the monorails had problems. Not working when they were supposed to be working, or having problems keeping trains from leaving the station (and causing a backup of trains waiting to go to the TTC.)

IMHO, WDW needs to drop some of their profits into making the monorail more reliable, replace it, or come up with a parking lot tram-type system to get you to MK fast and easy.

Hence why I like WL...Get proximity to MK...Can use the boat to CR and take the monorail, if we really want to...Or walk over from CR...And still have a bus available

That's sad, in my experience it worked almost flawlessly for many years. It was a treat to travel around the WDW monorail system.
