Hello All:wave:

Well our trip keeps getting changed. I think we have finally settled for week of Jan 23,05 for 10 nights, and will be staying at the ASMovies.

1. Could anyone tell me if there are any schools (ie cheerleaders, football players) down at this time.

2. How is the weather? Coming from NY we would love to swim.

Thanks

Erin-I can't answer your hotel question, but I'm from upstate and it was -20 air temp. when I went at the beginning of January last year. In Orlando, it ranged between 60 and about 75, I would say. I swam or got in the hot tub (outdoors) evey day and was not the only one. It was such a great feeling! Flowers AND swimming in January!

I walked by a woman on the way back to my room one day, who looked at me and said, "You must not be from around here..." She was from Georgia and was freezing! That's when you remember what a big country the U.S. is!

Have a great trip!

We're from Canada...and everyone says that the only people in the pools are from Minnesota or Canada...;);)

Remember, the pools are heated to above 80*, and the hot tubs are wonderful!!:)

Well...there are always some kind of groups there and usually school groups stay at the All-Stars...but hopefully your dates are after fall sports trips and before spring music days and the cheerleader onslaught is around Xmas as a rule... that is a great time to be there

Remember the pools are heated, so it isn't the swimming that gets you...it is the getting out!!
