Q: What kind of vehicles do Disney characters drive?
A: Minnie Vans!

:lmao:

Hey...you said "tell me a joke" not "tell me a FUNNY joke."

I too, am freaking out. I think my eyes were bigger than my ambition when it came to planning FE's and now I am running around like a wild woman trying to get everything put together. Good thing I work well under pressure!

LMAO! I love it!

Q: Why are there no planes where peter pan lives?
A: Because there is a sign that says "Never Neverland"!

Q: What did Mickey say when Minnie asked him if he was listening?
A: "I'm all ears!"

I am sure if you PM Tinkerkell123 with your email address she will send you the FE/Meets list. It has our meeting times including 3:00 pm on the first day.

I am definitly down for some cards!!!!

I think we should set it up NOW.....
Only becasue what if someone who wants to play cars does not show up at a meet

The better organized everything is the less stressed we will be on our cruise!
As i am totally stressed right now:scared1:

I am up for that too! I LOVE cards and have some games I am anxious to show you all. I would say it would be more of a sea days thing since we already have morning and evening times set up for port days. Mind you a 3pm time for all days would be fine too, that way if someone stays aboard at a port there is a time set up. The only thing I can't help with is locations being my first Disney crusie.

sounds good, when we get the 10 post PM minimum we will do that :cool1:

Let me log back onto the group account on Facebook and get it from you and I can email it to her for you to add you to the list for future emails and I will email you the one she sent me today.

Hi,
This is our first Disney cruise, also. We also booked back in August and surprised our kids on Christmas morning. We are all so excited! I have twins a DD and DS. They are 9, but will be ten in February.

It was a super fun surprise for our DD...and a huge relief for me to finally let it out :yay: Can't wait to get onboard and enjoy the MAGIC!! Maybe see you at the meet!! :)

So...guess who just got their super-fantastic-so-cute-I-can-hardly-stand-it Alice in Wonderland Fish Extender in the mail just now! :woohoo:

Thanks for all the welcome's :) Glad to join in and looking forward to a fun filled cruise !!

So now that we are thinking about packing - can we wear jeans in the dining roomon nonformal nights? With a nice shirt, not tshirt.

Trying to get caught up so I dont know if someone already answered but, yes you can wear jeans....we wore shorts once. There are those who go all out ( we did our first cruise) those you go with church dress and us:) We try to pack super light ( DH only lets us bring 1 bag each)

Hey everyone,

I've been lurking on here for a while now, thought I'd say hello!! We will be on the Jan 22 - Western Magic sailing as well :) We're a family of 3 - DH 42, DD 10 and me 42. This will be our first Disney Cruise and we are so looking forward to it  I booked it back in August, but DH and I kept it a secret until Christmas morning, when we surprised our DD with this cruise!

Any other family of 3 with a DD around 10yrs old? Would be great to meet you :yay: Can't wait!!

Our oldest DD is 11

Welcome Ribica and BeauMel.

We want to do the 5K but not sure I will be ready for it since i havent really been running or walking this winter.

I wouldn't mind considering doing the 5K on CC.

Does anyone know or know if there is a thread on here or DCL site with more information such as ballpark time they start the 5K, if there is an entrance fee, and if we need to sign up on-board at excursion desk or if those participating just show up at a certain location on the island?

I'm thin, but very out of shape right now too so not sure how good I would do. We did a 5K a few months ago and would be interested to see how much the big change in elevation would impact doing a run at sea level. I just asked my older DD and DW if they wanted to do it and got an "uhhhhhhmmm No", surprised I would ask. :rotfl: I guess they don't think 5K meets criteria of playing and relaxing on a tropical beach while on CC, so it will just be me from my family if I do it.

any info would be great

On this cruise I think I will have been 98 days on cruise ships, but this is my first DCL cruise and haven't done any cruises longer than 7 days. My mother who will be traveling with us has done somewhere around 80+ cruises and probably longest was 12 days maybe.

Hello Everyone,
My name is Beau I just found this site a-little bit ago. We will be sailing with you all. This is my first Disney Cruise, though I am somewhat of a world traveler. I have done 2 Eastern US Navy Deployments. This is my wife Melissa's Third Magic DC, our son Ethan's First as well. We are also traveling with Melissa's parents and sister their 4th. We are actually getting to Orlando Wednesday evening, plan on going to Sea World and Magic Kingdom. We (Beau, Melissa) are planning on doing the Castaway Cay 5k, would anyone care to join us on that run?

I am planning on doing the 5k. Not necessarily RUNNING the entire thing, but definitely doing it! Welcome aboard! My DH was in the Navy on a nuke sub. LOOOONNNGGG time ago... I'll be sending you an e-mail shortly.

I am definitly down for some cards!!!!

I think we should set it up NOW.....

Any suggestions for what time?

E-mailing you the list shortly... 7 days at sea for me, DH was on the sub for several months at a time.

So...guess who just got their super-fantastic-so-cute-I-can-hardly-stand-it Alice in Wonderland Fish Extender in the mail just now! :woohoo:

:banana: Can't wait to see it!

I think it starts at 8:30. You just show up at the time the Navigator has posted, don't have to sign up or pay...

Beau is AD USN over 8 years, 5 of that stationed on a ship. 2 Deployments ( 7 months, 6 months ) Though willing to bet total at sea time combined is well over 2 years prob close to 3. Most time out to sea without pulling into port 67 days.

Welcome everyone! Very excited!

Got fish extenders in the mail today. I misspelled something BUT I think I can redo the labels as they weren't stuck on (thankfully!). So excited!

Yesterday got some fabric for the actual FE. DD wanted pink Minnie stuff but not sure my husband would ever come back to the room. Ended up with blue Little Mermaid fabric...at least it is blue and somewhat "sea"/cruise like, right? I knew buying it would be around the same price but DH would freak about another expense...this way it just looks like a craft store purchase.

Would love to do the 5K but been sick since October. DH is on third antibiotic. We both planned to run/walk it together but not ready. Next time...already pushing to book another future cruise onboard.

I was trying to catch up on post last night, told my DH that I hadn't been on in a while and he said that was ,unacceptable especially this close to the cruise:rotfl:

....love the snow,NOT! we wrecked last week (the 31st) . LAST YEAR WAS LONG AND HARD....come on cruise I'm SOOOO ready!!!

got to do school pick up, wish me luck...Haha
