Don't forget whatever you are bringing/making has to be easily packed from Canada. That was the hardest part for me. I had an idea that I REALLY wanted to make but was told it probably wouldn't go through customs well... so I opted to go a different direction. Maybe if we can swing another crusie I can make them way ahead of time and have time to ship them. I think they would be ok that way. Anyways, have fun!

We are letting DS wear his Pirate halloween costume(go figure we are going on a crusie with a pirate theme and he decides to dress up as a pirate...lol). DD, DH and I have scarf hats and maybe eye patches but I think thats about it.

Ok.... this is the update on the pillowcases....
I did NOT find any charges to my paypal for the $50.00 I got the email about so I am not sure what happened there but keeping an eye out. Also I finally received a reply from the seller. It reads as follows...

Boy did I mess that one up! I guess I was thinking anyone cruising in Jan. must be on the Dream. LOL The funny thing is we will be on the Magic the week before you on an Eastern cruise. I will put new pillow cases in the mail for you today or tomorrow. I've already printed the shipping for them I just have to get them on the machine.

So I will not need your friend Kelli. Not unless they do not show up that is...lol. Thank you for being so wonderful! And thank you everyone for allowing me to vent and stress online.

Yay!! So glad she did the right thing with the pillowcases! And it got me going on a new design for this year for the kids!

I actually came up with another idea and did it all myself! I will post it. I have not decided exactly how I am going to do it yet but I am thinking maybe the Pirate Mickey head on the front like a name tag and the new design on the back but I may just put the main design on the front. Anyways, here is my idea…

As you can see, I accomplished little around the hosue today...lol. I did however finish up all my FE's with spares for new sign ups(hopefully) and am ready FE wise!

I am running out of things to work on though... and I still have 66 days till our vacation starts!

Hello All - just found out about this forum on Cruise Critic. Looks like it will take some time to get up to speed. We too are booked for this sailing. Our party consists of 6 adults and 5 children (ages 13, 8, 8, 8, and 4). I am not sure whose more excited! I have sailed on the Magic four times previously and have made many great friends. Hope to make some new ones!!!! WOW less than 70 days till sailing - YEAH.

Hey there! I followed the link here from the Cruise Critic site, and have really been getting a lot of valuable information. Thanks so much for all the tips. I hope you'll bear with me, as I this is my first time on a Disney cruise and I have absolutely no experience with discussion boards!

My little family of three will be joining you all on this cruise, and we could not be more excited! After reading as many pages of this thread as my tired old eyes will allow, I've decided that my daughter would get a kick out of FE's. Yay! Gettin' closer! Had fun this weekend trying on a bunch of clothes for dinner. Still not TOTALLY settled on what to wear for formal, but I've got semi-formal night and most of the rest decided... Trying to decide between long white satin gown or long red gown... Decisions, decisions... Plan to start major pre-packing Thanksgiving weekend as I would not be caught dead near a retail establishment then...

I debated on which direction I wanted to go. More adult or stick with the theme I have for the kids... I think what I did will work though.(I HOPE)

RED GOWN! Can you imagine sitting for dinner and oopsing something dark down your white gown just because the seas are a little rough?! I would be devistated for you! Did you pick up those shoes?

You are right about the white. I can totally see that happening... I did get the shoes and I will definitely be practicing walking in them. They are so high (4.5") that when I tried on a pair of red high heels with the red dress, they seemed like flats! Have to watch the wine intake the nights I wear those!

If you don't find a dress you like before Christmas, I bet you will find one for a great price afterwards when all the holiday stuff goes on sale... I hope you can find those shoes in your size...

I would imagine because of the pannels that hang down over the pants kind of like at a car wash?.... Just my guess. Mine do not have the tie on the waist though.

HELLO EVERYONE!!!!!!

It's been a very long time since i've checked in but ALOT has happened in our family...

First my husbands retina detached an had to go in for emergency surgery. It's been a couple of weeks and all should be OK by cruise time

Second my Brother-in-law and sister-in-law will now not be going with us, But my parents will be.

Third my brother is getting deployed so the sunday before last he and his fiance decided to get married this past sat. Which meant I had to drive 8 hr (without my hubby) with 3 kids and two dogs, one of which is prego and to top it off i'm not feeling well which leads me to .....

Fourth I'm PREGNANT and dealing with morning sickness!
I'll be 17 weeks by the cruise

so needles to say a little crazy.

I still would love to do FE as well as my parents but I'm not sure if its to late?
I finally have are official room numbers. were in room 2618 and my parents and my youngest are in room 2620

Ill try to read threw the older posts but if someone could give me a quick updated I'd be so thankful

Hope all is going well for everyone, and I cant wait tell we all get to share in a wonderful and magical cruise

Despite reading the instructions for responding to many posts at once, I still couldn't manage to figure it out but I'll keep trying. In the meantime...

Kelli, I sent you an e-mail from my gmail account with all our details for the FE exchange. Thanks for letting us join in! Also, I think I saw that you posted an earlier message about people who play spades. I love to play! And one more thing...the "Wilmington" in my screen name is Wilmington, NC, so I am glad to see another Carolina Girl will be on the ship.

I don't think I can come up with eight more random things to post, so until I am part of the in-crowd I will just have to e-mail I guess. I did manage to make myself a little signature line, though, so there's that. You're all kind of intimidating with your 900,000 posts and your dancing emoticons. I can work Facebook like a pro, but I seriously feel like a total dork on here! But that won't keep me from posting.

Oh, and please forgive me if I ask a question that has already been answered. I really will try to read the entire thread, but I might not succeed. I do have to: shop (for 3), pack (for 3), get passports (what?), berate my TA for not hooking me up with any KSF promos, find/buy a FE, lose about 20 lbs, and the list goes on. I will definitely stay caught up once I GET caught up! SO EXCITED!!

wow thats a busy couple weeks. Congrats on the pregnancy and I do hope you husband heals quickly and your brother is safe through his deployment.

Whats new around here is we have a few new families, Melissa is also pregnant though I don't recall how far along she will be at cruise time but has been quite sick, the deadline for FE's is next week so you are still in time for that, i think everyone that tried got some sort of Palo reservation and all their excursions o ya and Chrisse is going to dinner naked on Formal night hahaha

And as far as posts go, it doesn't have to be anything...lol just somethig to bump your posts. And if your like me, when I am working or reading, I have my email open so I hear when someone posts on here and hop right to it! lol It is my small obsession! I also have my Facebook up all the time just in case something interesting happens...lol. Yes I have a life! It just revolves around this trip for the time being! Right now I am playing with graphics for magnets! This might be my newest hobby! It has taken me a week to read this book because of all the playing on the computer! Oh well, it keeps me happy...lol.
