Jan 22, 2006 Wonder - Who's joining us?

Hello all! My best friend and I are going on our first Disney cruise to celebrate the completion of her Ph.D. I'm a Disney fanatic and go at least once per year! We'd love to meet some other before/during our cruise. Hope to hear from others who are going during this down-time!

We will be there! It will be me 40, my DH 41 & our 2 DS 9 & 5. I hope that makes sense as I am usually just a lurker and I'm not used to writing the lingo. We are originally from South Florida so my DH & I grew up going to WDW but have never been on a Disney Cruise before. We will be staying the 18th - 20th at the AKL (also a first time for us) and then will check into the Marriott in Cocoa Beach on the 21st. Our friends (my friend 40, her DH ? and their 2 DD 2 & 3) from South Florida are going to drive up and meet us at the AKL for 1 night and then go on the cruise with us. They also have never been on a Disney Cruise before so needless to say we are all so excited. We haven't seen each other since we went to Disney last in 2002 and they met us there.

We are going to have sooooo much fun!

Looks like we will be joining you, too... myself (Melissa) and best friend Michelle are leaving our kids and husbands behind and cruising by ourselves. We've known each other since we were very young and now live on opposite coasts, so we are trying to take a trip together once a year (right now it's more like every two or three years, but it's a start!).

We have cruised RCI Sovereign of the Seas together, and I have cruised the Disney Magic a few years ago with my husband and kids (ds11 and dd6) and we are going again on the Magic Western this October. Disney is our family vacation every year.

Can't wait to see the Wonder and all she has to offer!
