I was hoping to do Tea on Monday. I made a reservation through REAS, but wonder if we had a big group couldn't work something out ahead of time.

I'm not sure how many are in for Poker yet. Any other guys out there interested?
Tea on Monday sounds good...count me in! ::yes::

Anyone else up for tea on Monday? So far I see interest from:

Doc dancin' now! :rockband: :cool1: :cheer2: :Pinkbounc :jumping4:

Cruise docs came today- now we get to fill them all out. :earseek:

See y'all in less than two weeks! :teleport:

Still covered in ice here in Pennsylvania. Can't wait to get on the boat!!

No documents for us yet, but did get a call from DCL and we have been upgraded from category eight to category five, now in stateroom 7520. Very excited about that, as this would have been our first time cruising without the verandah.

We did the tea on our last cruise and really enjoyed it, love the scones, yum yum.

My dds are getting very excited and I might think about digging out the suitcases this weekend.

Thanks for asking about mom. I am not sure as she just went to the doctors and was told her right lung is full. So she is a bit under the weather but hopefully will be better soon. Praying my son and I are not next.
I will let her know. I know she is in for the meeting.

Still no docs here either
grlsmom
we are in stateroom 7584
congrats on your upgrade

Not to sound dumb but what is the "tea" is it set up or are we just meeting?

suitcases man I don't want to think about packing.
trying to get a 15 year old male to pack or at least get his stuff together
I just went to his school today. they are very strick about taking him out of school so I had to show them my documents. HA I don't have any
but I showed them our shore excursion paperwork and that was good enough. Except for they changed midterms to the friday we leave. so that has to be worked out.
I will need to get away after this

We got the box of docs today from All Seas! I am bringing our suitcases up from the basement tonight to start gathering the cruiseware etc.

Still nothing, checking with my TA and hopefully we'll get them soon! I gotta start getting my stuff together! At least we have all our birth certificates ready to roll! :charac2:

Tea sounds great. Any one have an idea on the time? We could send an email to Debbie the reservation miracle worker. :drinking1

I can probable do the tea also, just want to check on the time. We like to do "spa treatments" on days at sea. It would be great if the guys play poker while we drink mamosas/tea and have a yummy brunch or snack. Oh, would it be the brunch or a tea? Is there a difference?

Congrats on the docs :)

I was going to wait until I received my docs to book my shore excursions-big mistake. My TA will not send the docs until 10 days out! I called DCL direct to try to book excursions (I wasn't sure I could do that without my docs) they were very nice however everything we were interested in was already full. Don't pull out the tissues yet... We were able to book an excursion in St. Maarten through Expedia. This is my first time to do it this way-I hope it turns out well.

Hubby of new to disney: My DH & DFIL would like to be included in your poker game. Us girls, my DSIL & DMIL & myself had already made a tea ressie for 3:30 that afternoon. I'll wear a green ribbon. We hope to see you other ladies!

Joel110: We are fellow Ohioans! We all live just outside Columbus - where are you from?

Tea update:
Tea is at 3:00. MCazer, I was thinking of Tea, since my DH definitely wants to do the Brunch. I haven't done the Tea before but heard good things about it. I emailed Sue Ellen at DU, and she said Disney would not pre-book a large gathering for Tea, and it would need to be done on board. I have made reservations for 4 using our REAS package. If anyone else has the REAS package I'm sure we could request in advance that they group us together. We can also coordinate as soon as we board.

Here is the description of "High Tea"

High Tea at Palo: A lovely afternoon tea service is offered at Palo on Day 3. Reservations are required. Adults only, recommended dress is resort casual. $5.00 fee.
Guests can enjoy the amazing delicacies offered by Chef Simone. Freshly baked raisin scones are served with a decadent Devonshire cream and tasty apricot and strawberry jams. Enjoy the dainty finger sandwiches of smoked salmon and cucumber, delicious chicken curry, traditional egg salad and crisp cucumber and cream cheese as you sip one of the ten teas offered. Selections include Orange Pekoe, English Breakfast, Irish Breakfast, Earl Grey, Chamomile, Hot Cinnamon Spicy, Black Currant, Peppermint, Lemon Verbena, and Darjeeling. The loose tea leaves are steeped table side in individual pots. A creamy English trifle and mocha éclairs round out the offerings.

Hi,
Got an email from my TA this morning. Same thing - "disney is behind on printing"....so I'm two weeks out today, he won't get them till mid week so I'm probably not going to see them till a week before the cruise.

A little close for typically complusive me but I'll get throught it!

There'll be fourteen of us. Most of us live just north of Columbus (Delaware, Marion, Galion areas). The others are south in Wilmington.

14 days from now we'll be in line to board :cool1: .

WOO HOO! :Pinkbounc

Mike320 Hang in there buddy...I'm a COMPLETE control freak and know how hard it is ::yes::

Is it me, or does anyone else not like anything on this menu. I feel so bad, but nothing but the "tea" (regular orange pekoe) and cucumbers appeals to me. Not sure if I will be making this one. I thought it would be more like the brunch, which is yummy!
