Just bumping this up so we are not on the second page.

Anyone new out there? Come and join us!

Hi everyone,

It is so fun to see our countdown clocks tick down as summer comes to a close. It really won't be long until we are in double digits! With school starting and all the fall activities coming our way, I am sure the time will go by quickly.

Has anyone given any thought to a Dismeet? On our last Eastern cruise, we met on a sea day in the Promenade lounge. It would be fun to put some faces to the names!

Talk to you soon.

Bumpity, bump, bump - off of page 3.
Waiting for my DIS friends to cruise with me.

Sorry, just wanted to move us up on the board.

Hi fellow cruisers. Just wanted to find out what plans people are making for the night before (1/21). We are contemplating staying at WDW just to get us in the mood. My DH wants to stay at the port since we did that last time and everything went smoothly. We will have a rental car that we will turn in Sat morning at the port. All opinions are welcome.

Hi, we have made ressies for three days at CBR before we go. We're telling the kids that the WDW portion is their xmas gift, no word of the cruise! When the van comes to pick the five of us up on Sat morning, we'll just wait to see their faces when we approach the ship...! Can't wait!

We are probably going to stay at the Radisson or Ron Jon the night before. Hubby said NO to the parks for the day before. He is Disneyed out from our February trip. He does not consider the cruise "Disney" it is more of a relaxing vacation as opposed to the get up and out type at the World! LOL

So, even though I would love to go to the parks or at least Boardwalk the night before, I got the old VETO. Hey, I get to go on a cruise! LOL

We are also renting a car and dropping it off Saturday morning. We always go out to eat at a Steak house down the road from the Radisson and then the ABC liquor store for some wine and rum!

We are going the day before. We plan to stay at the Radisson or Ron Jon's - Has anyone stayed at Ron Jon's? If we stay at either, do they offer complimentary shuttle to the port? I'm trying to decide if we should rent a car or if we should just use the shuttle service.

Hi Everyone!

We are staying at the Hilton Garden Inn, close to the airport. O.k. . . no laughing when you read the next sentance! Hooters is right behind the HGI. It has become a bit of tradition to have dinner there after we fly into MCO. The girls have always been so great to DS7 (many of them are studying elementary education). Last year, we bought him a Hooters football from the little gift shop, and the gals autographed it after playing catch with DS7 in the lobby. He gets to let off some pent-up energy that built up during the flight, and it does not bother anyone if he is a bit loud and runs around.

We can't wait. Do you realize how close we are to double digits? Yipee!:scratchin :cool2: :drinking: :thewave:

Hello!

Please add us to the list.

DD- 5
DS- 9

We are also cruising with our friends who have:

DS- 3
DD- 7

I didn't see any 9 year old boys out there. Where are you? Oh well, I did see a few 8 years olds and I think that 8-9 are together, right?

Can't wait until January!!

Piper- I hear the wings are good there :smooth:

We're still not sure what we're doing the night before. 1/21 is newtodisney's bday and we're trying to convince her DH to spend it in a better place than the Radisson.

In May we stayed at the Poly the night before and caught the fireworks. We did the character bfast at Chef Mickeys before heading to the port and were still one of the first people on board the ship. We'd love to do AKL the night before but we're waiting to see what kind of rates come out.

Wow! That sounds like a great plan. We love the Poly soooo much. We have only been to WDW twice, but stayed at the Poly each time. I love the fireworks and the EWP. We watched the latter 3 or 4 times during our stay.::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo pirate:  :sunny: :smooth: :hyper: :yo-yo: :space: :crowded: :genie: :3dglasses :duck: :firefight :jumping2: :jumping1: :bday: :thewave: :rockband:

BTW, DS7 helped with all the similes. I have to be careful, b/c both cruises are a secret, so I am careful he does not see the countdown clock!

Wow! I can't believe it's only 105 days away. I booked my cruise back in April and then it seems so far away. Can't wait!!!

Looks like me and my travel companion are out of the norm. Seems like mostly all of you will be with your families. I will be with a buddy of mine. (Neither of us are married OR have kids..lol). I sure hope we fit in and have a good time!

Anthony-

I think that as long as the drinks are cold, the food is good, and there is a lot to do (which there definitely is!) you and your friend will have an awesome time.

We are also travelling with friends and really looking forward to hanging out with them.

Keep watching the countdown!:D
