Jan 2014 Public Discounts?

This is the promo from January 2013.. this will be the promo for the same period in 2014.

While it lists the exclusions for certain rooms there are always additional room categories / hotels that do not offer rooms when the promo actually goes live. In January if my memory serves me correct. POR there were available rooms but POFQ there were not. It always depends on how many existing reservations each resort has when the promo begins.

The room only discount for POFQ was only 5% for that promotion and the WL had 20%. We stayed at the WL and my sisters stayed at POFQ during that promotion last year.

Hmm..I tried to book for the last week of January (2013) and could not find any bookable rooms (This was on the Disney site logged in as a TA.)

I've been checking back every week or so because I am also waiting for public discounts for January 2014. I was hoping those would go up today since the previous specials were book through September 15, and today being the 16th, I expected more specials than what's up. I guess it's a waiting game and we will have to keep checking in periodically. But waiting is hard when it comes to Disney!!!! So disappointed I didn't fit the magical algorithm and get ones of those darn pins!

Way too soon.
It will turn into a Disney Visa offer in about a week.
then it will be bookable as a general public offer early October.

We stayed Jan 26-Feb 2 at POFQ and got S/P/D. I called the first day that the S/P/D discount opened up, I think it was Oct 10, and was able to get it no problem.
