Just a somethings that we did or noticed from our 2 trips in Jan 2011. 
First trip was Jan 1st-4th
I know crazy busy. But really it wasn't that bad.
Hotel was the Holiday Inn and Suits on walnut. Nice hotel. Clean friendly. But I don't like the $10 resort fee. I got it on priceline for $45 a night. It was more then I wanted to pay but we last minute decided to go down on NYE so thats why it cost so much.
We drove to DTD and parked there because we always eat a snack at Rainforest Cafe. We stay for the 5 hours. Then we go back to the hotel rest relaxe and then come back for another 5 hours with eating a nother snack in Rainforest.
We had 3 day PH that we upgrated to Dex APs on day 3. We did it over in CA. The CM that was doing it asked us questions about how many times we have been to each park today and stuff like that. It completly through us off because after 3 days of in and out you cant remember.
but I know that its for people who buy tickets from other people then upgrade them to APs.
But here is the thing He made our APs start from the first day that we used the PH not on day 3. So FYI I told him that I have done this before and its never happen like that and he said thats the way they always do it. so I dont know Just a heads up to other people out there.
Trip #2 Jan 21-23 Budget trip.
We took our 2 girls down. Got 2 nights through bidding for pirceline $39 a night for Holiday Inn Anaheim restort on S.Manchester. Love this hotel. Fridge in room always no parking/resort fee. Kids eat free. Amazing happy hour in bar. Big pool. Nice hot tub.
We went all day Sat with our 2 girls. Did tons of rides before 11am.
Food we did one big splurge rainforest. $60 total we had an app each girl got a meal (they could have easily split one for them ) we got a sandwitch and another app (free with club card). incudes one beer.
For breakfest we did in room with muffins from home.
Dinner we did the birthday goup coupon because my DD bday was in dec.
No problem at Tortia joes. Kids drinks are 3.50 and the meals are 7.95
Food is ok. But a little bland but good.
If anyone has any questions I would love to anwer. I didn't want to do a trip report just a few highlights to help anyone who is going soon or planning.
